  1. We had some real grief from that little bell end Lee Johnson when he was at Bristol City. Gave all sort of verbals before we played them, and we fucked them 5-0* which only set him off whining more. Spent days before the match complaining about all sorts of random shit - one of which was the fact we have home fans behind each goal - and telling us we weren't famous any more, then got all righteous and worked up post match because we'd been singing "you've seen the Villa, now fuck off home" and "5-0 on your big day out" at them. He really is a horrific cunt. * I think it was 5-0 anyway.
  2. It doesn't make any sense, really - unless we are signing someone into his sort of position. Emery said at the end of pre-season he was going to be staying with the first team.
  3. Hope Ramsey does well there - we have a buy back clause just in case, mind. I see Archer is off to Sheffield United for £18m also with a buy back clause. Plus Philogene to Hull (which I have to say, I am extremely surprised by, both his departure and it being Hull). Don't believe the 5m being mentioned, though. Either way that's 35m plus of homegrown talent sold in the last few weeks.
  4. Jesus but that tweet was fucking idiotic. I hate football twitter, it absolutely brings every single bell-end to the forefront.
  5. murphy is incredibly bad. Offers nothing. Sounds like he thinks we owe him something for turning up. Richards is a gurning fucking moron. I’ve no idea what that new Rest is Football podcast is like, and I never will because that cretin is on it. The BBC have an addiction problem with the likes of Richards and Savage and those types, like they think they’re creating national treasures in some way. They’re not, though. They’re forcing idiots on us.
  6. Seriously, when did this naff cross-arms-across-chest to look like irons thing start with West Ham fans? Genuine question.
  7. You'll get over it, remember, you and I, we didn't choose, we were chosen #UTV Keep the faith, brother.
  8. Eight league home wins in a row, 2 goals conceded, zero from open play.
  9. Don't let them get you down, Butcher. Football is nothing if it is not about holding petty, unsubstantiated, irrational grudges and dislikes of people and clubs. I am totally with you, except my list would be 5 times as long.
  10. I am amazed we are thinking of flogging him.
  11. It's difficult to make out very much at all on teams on the basis of two very differing games at the start of the season. You weren't as bad as you looked after we beat you at our place last year. We weren't as bad as we looked when shipping four at home to Leicester under Emery. Bad days happen, and you really need a decent sample of games to get a better idea. Except for Everton, who look utterly hopeless in a continuation of last season. They're uberfucked.
  12. 3 in the US, Walsall, Lazio, Valencia, so 6. We are already without Moreno and Ramsey, our left side, since before the end of last season, too. They're big players to miss.
  13. Fucking hell, what is this injuries shit?
  14. Everton are just like we were for about 5 years, godawful and scraping around waiting for the inevitable to happen.
  15. You can take the boy out of the Villa, but you cant etc etc etc
  16. Douglas Luiz says hi. He has also, until recently, been spending much of his time boning Alisha Lehmann.
  17. The Paqueta dodginess was in a match against us that ended in a draw. The only fair result is that we are awarded a win. Which means we finished a place higher, and thus will be in the Europa League. Has anyone got a phone number for Brighton? I need to break the bad news.
  18. Good to see Olise telling Chelsea to stick it up their arses, for a change.
  19. That must have been tough, living through WW2 in Japan under all that intense US bombing.
  20. Gerrard picked that entire fight with Mings just to be sure he was the biggest personality at the club. What a dick head.
  21. Sevilla playing really well, tbf.
  22. Nice assist from the Lucas Digne replacement.
  23. It's not that, it's the changing dynamic and language around it. Putting out through Romano, the fact he "respects West Ham". I dunno, I just don't like it. I also do not like this new thing of players agreeing packages with a new club before fees are agreed. Whatever happened to good old tapping up?
