  1. Mitro has been thrown in at the deep end. That's not his fault but he hasn't done well. Perez did a lot better in similar circumstances last season.
  2. People have been saying Mitro is getting stick while Cisse has got off lightly. Time to give Cisse some criticism. Cisse is absolutely terrible these days. The difference between when he first arrived and now is amazing. His touch is appalling and so is his shooting. The fact that he smiles while playing like shit annoys the hell out of me. One more year to go on his contract. I hope he leaves in the Summer.
  3. I don't know how anyone can say Mitro can finish. I'd say finishing has been his worst attribute. He has wasted loads of chances. 3 alone yesterday and that's just one game. Cisse is absolutely terrible these days but this is the Mitro thread.
  4. I don't hate him, I just don't rate him. He has no pace and his finishing is poor. He may come good one day but that doesn't help us right now. Cisse is awful these days, Riviere is terrible and Perez has had a poor season. All our strikers have failed (along with the majority of the team).
  5. Bigirimana! He's shit. Just ask Coventry.
  6. All the players employed by NUFC to score goals are poor at that job. It shows how far we've fallen that people's favourite players are so mediocre. My favourite Newcastle players were always the goal scorers. I don't really have a favourite player these days. We don't have any regular goal scorers and haven't for a while.
  7. At least we won't be able to lose any local derby games for a season.
  8. Assuming Rafa stays or a different decent manager is appointed I'm sure a season in the Championship will be a lot more enjoyable for our fans than it will be for Sunderland fans in the Premiership. Regularly scoring goals and winning games will be a nice change if it happens.
  9. He scored most of his goals in one game against Norwich. He was our best player a few times this season. You'd expect that from a player who cost £15m. He did the best invisible man impression away from home all season.
  10. They say as a striker you shouldn't worry about missing chances. The time to worry is when they stop getting into goal scoring situations. Mitro broke that saying this season. He's missed so many chances. He had at least 3 today. You'd expect a competent striker to score at least one of them.
  11. Well with him we've been relegated so that's not much of an argument for him.
  12. It would be good to have a balanced squad. We currently have far too many player who play the number 10 role (Wijnaldum, Sissoko, De Jong and Perez), meanwhile we have 1 specialist right back (Janmaat) and 1 left winger (Aarons who may have 1 more year on his contract). Most of those players will be leaving too I'd have thought.
  13. WE got promoted from the championship last time because the other teams didn't have finishers and we did. If he's our striker next season, we might well be the other team. We don't exactly play to his strengths though do we? If Andy Carroll had this lot for service he'd be absolutely knackered. What are his strengths? He is shite in the air and his heading is awful. His shooting and finishing are also awful. You're shite and awful. Why? Because I point out that Mitrović can't hit a barn door? He's proved me correct for most of the season. However much anyone 'loves' him he's failed to do the job. It's not his fault he's NUFC's main striker but he's still failed (as did NUFC in buying him instead of a proven Premiership striker).
  14. Exactly. Why the hell the BBC think it was worth posting that shite up I don't know. I thought the BBC were above posting obvious rubbish in order to generate replies. Sunderland's end of season DVD should be good. Adam Johnson assists and goals erased from history I wonder?

  16. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/live/football/35944980 Yes because 10 games in charge is the same as most of the season isn't it? Not getting relegated is the same as winning the Champions League too apparently. I hope Allardyce bores the Sunderland fans to death.
  17. He's been out injured for a season. That could put other clubs off. He's only got a year to go on his contract according to http://www.nufc.com/2015-16html/squad.html so I could see Ashley wanting to cash in.
  18. Doubt it. His contract is finished. With his injury record (never mind his playing ability) I'd be surprised if NUFC gave him a new contract. 'Pay per Play' deals don't really exist in the real world do they?
  19. Crosses went in to him today. He fluffed the chances. No team has a constant supply of crosses whipped into the box. You need someone who can take chances. He had at least 3 today which he failed with. He is not good in the air anyway. His headers are rarely on target. I'm not blaming him for being NUFC's main striker. I'm saying he's a crap striker.
  20. A huge turn over in playing staff will occur you'd think. http://www.nufc.com/2015-16html/squad.html I can't imagine Tottenham are interested in Perez any more. Wijnaldum, Sissoko and Janmaat will be straight out the door as soon as they can organise their escape. Gouffran will probably play a lot more for the last year of his contract. Riviere to get a game? Vučkić and Sammy Ameobi coming back (well done on extending their contracts for another year NUFC). The future doesn't look like fun.
  21. He is shite. His heading is awful. His shooting is awful.
  22. Most of our attacks came via Anita. Good for him but it shows how shit our squad is.
  23. Did you not see his headers?
