Have to agree about the match day buzz. Walking to the ground at about half 2 (would normally be in at 3pm on the dot for starters) after a pint in The Mayfair and everyone was singing the new Bruno chant, EIEIEIO etc. Only normally get that on derby day but it’s every home game now. Everyone bang up for it.

Hopefully Ritchie, Krafth, Darlow and Longstaff too.
-
Really hope we don’t need to go to Burnley and get something to stay up like. Will be an absolute party in that away end if we’re confirmed safe.
-
Came in here to post about how frustrating it was at the end when he tried to bring it down and take it to the corner and it just bounced off him, meaning we were vulnerable to a counter attack. Key part in the first goal mind. Still hope he’s nowhere near our first team in August.

Mental that “the bloke who got Bournemouth relegated” is doing a job that the fat, odious cunt who has somehow shithoused their way to managing 1000 off games could only dream of.
-
Feeling good but will feel much better if we have over 30 points after these next four away games. If we can get 4 points from them I’ll be close to 0. Some big games at the bottom coming up. Brentford v Burnley next week.

Had me worried today. Refusal to come out and claim the ball when it was in his area, meant we conceded a couple of corners/half hearted clearances. You need your goalkeeper to ease the pressure and add a bit shithousery to run the clock down and he didn’t do that today. Think Howe will want a new ‘keeper in the Summer. One that doesn’t panic when the ball gets played back to them. Feel shan like as he seems like a top character and he’s made some big saves and had some class games for us, but he needs to go in the Summer.

Been poor recently apparently. Possibly since they knocked back a bid from Villa.
-
Aye, very impressive win. Didn’t think we would win today, even at 2-0 up I was never confident. Only their third defeat away from home all season. Says a lot about the character of the team and the solidity we have now that we didn’t buckle when they scored. Hope that I can go to a game between now and the end of the season and for it not to be such a massive occasion. Was bricking it.

Reckon they’re probably in the away end tbh! Can’t see Brighton fans being particularly aggressive the same way as Man Utd, West Ham etc would be so shouldn’t be too bad an experience. Obviously still don’t celebrate any of our goals like.

Some game this, Boro look quality going forward
-
How are they losing? He’s just changed the shape of the team and put all his strikers on? I thought that means they’ll win?
-
Someone with a bit of influence (who definitely should not have, the fucking moron) stirring it up when the club is doing canny. Some fan.

It has been, think it was The Dentist’s mate put a plan together

Aye. Had a few draws down there. As shit as we were, we would have won this season if their keeper didn’t take Wilson out.
-
Pretty sure we haven’t scored against them at SJP in the PL. Drfinitely a tough game, but very winnable. Hopefully SJP is bang up for it and it gets us flying out the blocks.

Was big Andy Woodman commentating, much prefer the miserable yet tremendous Ando.
-
Interesting to see where they go next, naturally hope they continue to struggle.
-
Class manager, sound bloke. Hope he’s here for years and breaks of trophyless run.
-
Another hammering for Leeds would be nice. Wonder if they’ll sack Bielsa? Would be interesting to see who they’d get instead, possibly someone like Allardyce to try and tighten them up at the back. Would be an absolute disaster and almost certainly relegate them if they did.
-
I would take a point now tbh. Will feel better if Spurs don’t do a Spurs against Leeds.
-
Another thing, in terms of the size of our home crowds we have been overtaken by West Ham, City, Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs in the last 17 years. Potentially Everton too in the coming years, probably Chelsea at some point. An extension is 100% needed.
-
Mad that a lady who has been involved in Football for less than half a year knows more about the basics of what a squad needs than someone “who has done it for many years”
-
Aye 100% As much as I would have been buzzing with Digne, I think Targett is better business playing behind ASM

Not reckon? I do personally. Brighton game next week sold out within an hour of general sale, there’s loads of people clamouring for tickets but not able to get them. This is us 17th in the league, admittedly on a good run of form but still in a relegation fight. If (hopefully when) we are at the top of the league, with superstar players competing for silverware and have an influx of new supporters from around the world wanting to come to our game, we will need the extra seats. I don't think we need a huge extension, but 60-65k is about right IMO.
