The fact that if we win promotion we will be only the second of the last 18 relegated clubs to do so automatically says a lot. Brighton, Sheff Wed and Fulham etc have had settled squads that are used to the fixtures coming thick and fast and have been in the same side challenging at the top of the league whereas our squad was put together in a couple of months. If we go up he deserves huge credit.

Hope Hughton gets it, to go with his promotion in second place. Yeah, second place, that'll happen. Well I am hoping they do, obviously. But it is not such a stretch of the imagination. Basically if we do what Brighton have done over the last four games, I.e. win them, and they do what we have done over the last four games (win two, lose one, and draw one) then we win the Championship. Only problem being we have to do what we have struggled to do recently and win games.

It was before the Sheff Utd home game when Forest failed to win their game which kicked off earlier. It was surreal walking to the ground, felt great knowing that the pressure was off. When I say I'm not too bothered about winning the league, I just mean that I want promotion confirmed as that is the priority and then we will see what happens. Totally agree with regards to it looking better re: Rafa.

Brighton have the best run in. Two of the easiest home games you could wish for and then away against teams with nothing to play for. I have said for a while that I think they will win the league. Not arsed one bit as long as we go up.

Agreed about the home crowd. Absolutely bollocks, no atmosphere and just get on the player's backs. Aye it can be frustrating but when we're pushing for a goal roaring the team on every time we drive forward is going to encourage them, not moaning and groaning when something doesn't come off.

That ref was a joke tonight. Another bizarre moment was their player going down with a head injury and not having to leave the field? On the deck for about 5 minutes and continued straight away. Only 3 minutes added on to the first half. This league is embarrassing.

Would be nice if we could win and Huddersfield drop points going into two tough games against Sheff We'd and Leeds.

I would bet on Fulham to win them, they played us off the park at SJP and are second highest scorers in the league. Would be happy for them, Leeds or Sheff Wed to to go up. Don't want them small time cunts Reading to go up.

I have thought that about the intro on Sky, SJP looks class on it. I will be taking a keen interest in the Championship next year as it's going to be very competitive. You mean a keen interest in the mackems floundering around near the bottom of a "shit pub league" IF they go down they have their work cut out, the play off teams are all good, then you have to consider that Villa should be there after a pre season under their belt as well as maybe Norwich too. Then you have the other two PL teams who go down. Hope we go up soon so I can enjoy the play off race and play offs themselves.
