Doesn’t sound like we’ll hear anything any time soon then.
-
Can see us getting bumped Wednesday and then a better, spirited display in the final which we lose by 1. Sorry for the negativity.
-
Hate going there. Might go to the gym when the match is on and leave my phone in the car.
-
That was all photoshopped in fairness to her.
-
I’m just glad that whatever is decided tomorrow will be communicated to a Yank who only remotely cared about the club post takeover.
-
Second half was shite from the team but the crowd were just sat in absolute silence also. Utterly shite from everyone. Ultimately though we won and that’s all that matters. Happy fucking days.

Surely they’d have been well aware of the costs involved before appointing the likes of Miller and that gadgie linked to the Reuben’s As much as I want to stay at SJP and see it expanded, it feels that we’ll be moving. Purely because whilst adding 8-10k more seats is achievable, it means we’re unable to expand in 20 years or whatever.

You’re not wrong. Thanks for posting it.

Can anyone get this article?

Delighted if we sign him. Had my reservations last summer but from what I’ve seen this year (which has been a decent amount tbf) I’m all in. Very young for a keeper, could be number one for over a decade. Shithouse as well.

You just know Nunez is turning into prime R9 on March 16th.
-
Fair enough, I was unsure due to the proximity to the river. Quite the jump that mind.

Re the capacity at Everton’s stadium. Can it easily be extended? 53k isn’t really a massive increase considering their fanbase.
-
Be class that. I very vaguely remember watching the game with my Sunderland mate and his da when they lost to Charlton in the play off final on pens. Bet that was sweet.
-
Aye I love it round Goodison. The Wilmslow (IIRC) is the definition of spitting distance form Goodison. Loads other class boozers such as the flat iron a short walk away too. Feels like a proper away day going there. Can see this new ken being like Old Trafford - bit of an industrial estate vibe. Shite.

There was a video posted earlier where some gadgie is walking from the city centre to the ground and it seems the location is awful. It wouldn’t be anywhere near as bad but I am glad we’re (seemingly) avoiding moving to the arena site.
-
Mind you I’m not sure what Goodison was like for fans who live the opposite side of the city, but I assume when you consider how long it’s been there, transport etc would’ve been sound. That car park looks awful.
-
Not sure the location is great. Seen a lot of complaints about accessibility for disabled fans and also the nearby train station not being fit for purpose. In true Nexus style their answer to it has been to put some metal fences up.

Do agree with your comments about the inside lacking character. Better than the bowl style but still not tickling my fancy. As I said, the LED adverts at Spurs gave me AIDS of the eyes so that’s a positive for Everton. This is the vid I seen that makes it look steep.
-
What’s people’s thoughts on Everton’s stadium, for those who’ve seen the videos and photos from their test game tonight? Personally think it is the best of the new builds so far. Steep stands, no over the top LED adverts, close to the pitch. Much more like it. Wouldn’t want it for us but it’s a big step in the right direction from the small sample we’ve had so far.

If there’s any fairness in the world we’ll win the cup at “Wembo” and they’ll lose the play off final there.

Every time I see these bastards in a big game they seem to get a result. Let themselves down against the shite sides
