Much more like it today. We were brilliant at times and played some lovely stuff. I have loved Howe’s time here and I want this season to be consigned to the history books forever. Hope he is true to his word about changes this summer and we see an evolved NUFC next season.

Find that in modern times you don’t get many club legends, players don’t tend to stick around long or if they do they don’t really achieve much to have that title. Trippier is most certainly a club legend. The man that believed in us first, and the man that lifted silverware.

Our songbook is fucking horrid mind. Our old school chants are good but you only ever hear them on an away day coach or by a handful of people singing them in the corner. We even have a chant with one word, 3 syllables that we had butchered. UNITED (Toon) - tragic

Think it’s only fair we give him a chance, wasn’t exactly thrilled with the appointment given the clubs he’s worked for previously but he seems good at getting transfers done and I think that’ll help us hugely. Obviously looking at what players signed isn’t a fair thing to judge him on, there’s a misconception that sporting directors are basically scouts.

The more I see the new shirt the more I like it. The back basically makes having a different design somewhat pointless. Fucking shite. Would love to see a retro shields design on the back return from 98/99.
