Hugo Ekitike (not playing for Liverpool for a while)
Danh1 replied to Miggys First Goal's topic in Football
They’ll do their usual karaoke followed by silence for 90 minutes, no doubt. -
Exactly this. Completely upto him. And I think he’ll stay. Would be delighted to get another season out of him and then he gets a move to Barca or someone next season. I can not wish him well if he goes to that horrible club Liverpool. It is a cult, not a football club. Followed by a bunch of plastic, out of town, candle lighting, black armband donning cunts.

Would seem odd if neither side are willing to budge considering the efforts both parties have gone through to negotiate. -

It’s defo real. Downie said that Ekitike’s reps have been in Austria today - and that we’ve had people in Germany last week. Reckons talks intensified today, so hopefully things on track -

Aye I have to be honest I trust Ornstein more than anyone else. Hopefully we get a more positive update from him tomorrow. -
80 million bid for a player. Wish these phonies would fuck off.

Just cannot see it unless Isak is off, but I cannot see us selling Isak either. -
Really? Unless he is getting a run in the team he looks slow and out of his depth. And he should not be getting a run in the team. It might cost £20m to replace him but from a PSR perspective that is still running at a profit We need to be better sellers and getting £12m for a player out of contract next summer, who isn’t good enough, is good selling. IMO obviously.

Forgot the great feeling a big signing causes. The club could’ve agreed a fee for Josef Fritz this evening and I’d be buzzing. In all seriousness, I have massively warmed to this signing. Finally signed a right fucking winger.
-
Right decision for everyone. Hope he gets a good move. Hope we sign someone to replace him.
-
Still baffles me that anyone wanted these cunts to come up.
-
Aye, I am sure he will prove to be a great signing. Trafford, RCB, a player to help unlock the “low blocks”. Be delighted with that.
-
Ha ha. I’m not sure if he was, I give him stick cos of the way he went on when they scored late on in the Europa league game.

Find it hard to get excited about a sporting director coming in. Thought Ashworth and Mitchell were both exciting appointments, but doesn’t seem like the DOF model is going to work here.
-
Usually only does that when Man United score
-
Summer 2022 also. Isak, Pope, Targett (meh) and Botman. We have signed some top, top players in the Howe era.
-
Wasn’t keen at first but more I’ve learned about him the more I want him. Those horrid second half’s against Everton, West Ham and Brighton last season are where we need someone who can bring something different when we look devoid of ideas.

Had tickets for level 4 for the Chelsea and Everton games and I migrated round to em stand on the stairs in the strawberry corner. Much better experience

Was at Sam Fender’s gig on Thursday. Hearing people enjoyed it last night and no doubt will tonight also. Class. Shame SJP is incapable of hosting gigs and we have to move or miss out…
-
Leaves an even smaller one when we are looking for his replacement next year
-
Remember he was linked the summer we signed Isak, looked like he might be our main striker signing. Hes been fucking shite since.
-
Surely snide.

Whilst we’re rubbishing our previous keepers, I never rated Harper. Used to remember people saying if he wasn’t second to Given he’d be England’s number one. Never in a million years
-
Hope we look abroad. Elanga. Madueke, Dibling and Semenyo do not fill me with excitement, don’t think they’re good enough and would cost a fortune.
