  1. Santon Ben Arfa :fwap::fwap::fwap::fwap::fwap::fwap::fwap: Cisse Cabaye
  2. It's alright. We're just taking some time to warm up. We've got the quality.
  3. Actually looks more like a 4-2-3-1 with Cabaye in the hole.
  4. Best 0-0 ever It's all on a plate for us now.
  5. Howay, surely we're finishing above both these piles of shit
  6. It's a weird feeling watching a match wanting neither team to score and hoping for as many injuries as possible
  7. Done and circulated on the Toon Army Korea website.

    World XI

How about if you had to make a World XI which is balanced by continental federation roughly proportionately to World Cup berth? So roughly, 4 Europeans, 2 South Americans, 2 Asians, 2 Africans, and 1 North American. Just to make it more interesting, you're not allowed to use 2 players from the same country. This was the best I could come up with Howard(CONCAF) Lahm(UEFA) Thiago Silva(CONEMBOL) Vidic(UEFA) Nagatomo(AFC) Yaya Toure (CAF) Xavi(UEFA) JS Park(AFC) Ronaldo(UEFA) Ba(CAF) Messi(CONEMBOL)
  9. Looks like I'm going to two of Birmingham, Blackpool, and Cardiff for the two playoff semi-final matches I'm going to watch in between Chelsea(A) and Man City(H). Hoping Cardiff go 4th. Would've made transit less difficult if Boro made it to the playoffs but doesn't look terribly likely. Arsenal v. Norwich sold out before going to general sale so I'm looking at watching one of the final round matches for League 1/2 on that day instead. May have the opportunity to see Sheffield Wednesday seal promotion at home, or watch Notts County/Stevenage get a playoff spot.
  10. I was about to make a "well, at least this philosophy has allowed them to achieve results with limited resources" argument for Stoke. Then I remembered their summer transfers.
  11. Blatantly couldn't be bothered to make a proper South Korea top Just a red shirt with a patch, not even any collar trimming!
  12. Xisco playing Champions League football
  13. "Moneyball" in the social consciousness right now basically just means "using some sort of efficient method to achieve disproportionately good results with a limited budget." Obviously that's not what the original "Moneyball" (which, incidentally, is just the name of the book. The actual methodology is known as Sabremetrics) was about, but it's what the word means now. No point in being snobs about it I suppose.
  14. Sunderland beat them. Us at home with the fans and players on a high with the possibility of Champions League qualification with City demotivated due to the game being meaningless with their manager probably leaving at the end of the season or already gone, possibly even fielding a weakened team? Of course we can beat them.
  15. There have been so many amazing moments this season, but hopefully we haven't experienced the best one yet.
  16. So I was wanting to get a seat in the singing section and had a complete brain fart and mistakenly booked the Gallowgate West corner instead of the Gallowgate East corner Just my luck, the box office decided to be efficient for once and posted my tickets immediately before I had time to ask for a change. Oh well, hope these seats are still decent.
  17. Being guaranteed a Europa spot takes a lot of pressure off imo. Can only be a plus.
  18. I doubt Cole could pick out Pardew in a 30000 crowd so they probably said hello. Moot point anyway, the question is who at lille is being watched? Eden Hazard. Obviously.
  19. I doubt Liverpool would ever want to do any sort of transfer business with us ever again.
