We really don't need to pidgeonhole every departing player in to being a hero or a villain. As far as I'm concerned he's not ours anymore and I don't give a shit.

I've stated my opinion on the "fake bids" theory a thousand times so I won't bother mentioning it again.

We have Obertan, Jonas, Ben Arfa who can all play RW. Tiote, Cabaye, Gosling, Guthrie in CM. We actually probably don't want to sign up anyone extra at this point because it gives us some space to give Sammy, Abeid, Vuckic, and other youngsters game time if needed. Signing more players would be nice, but LB, ST, and probably RB and maybe even CB would all be priorities over the midfield positions.

In some ways I'm glad that he's not our problem anymore but it drives me mad that we let him go for free. Could have extracted 2~3 mil out of some club easily.
