Pretty shite I'd guess, given what I've seen of your music scene in Korea. Concert was fun but yeah, every time I listen to Korean music I imagine to myself "man, this would sound fucking ridiculous to anyone not Korean." I don't want to know what the next-door neighbors think given that I was shouting "FUCK YEAH' for a full minute alone in my room.

Was screaming for him to take off Shola or Obertan for basically the entire game, but in the end conserving subs allowed us to bring on defensive players late in the game so I suppose it worked out in the end.

Better than last week. Will be even better next week for sure. Can see him and Tiote being completely unplayable by the end of the season, at which point we'll promptly sell both

Pretty sure it'll be same team as last week IMO. Would like to see Obertan used as an impact sub. Might be a liability over 90 minutes with his lack of defensive help.

I think this is what it is and I think Henry might be taking advice from the wrong people (i.e. Dalglish) as to how the "investment" should be used.

It's basic psychology that if your maximum price is say £100,000, you'd offer considerably less than that to begin with. Sigh, tell that to the club. This is one aspect in which I really don't understand them. I understand that it's probably a reaction to the good old days of "Oh, you want 10m for Luque? here you go!," but we've gone too far in the opposite direction.

On principle, we just don't like negotiating, that's all there is to it really. We seem to have set values for players and that's our first and last offer. Obviously, it doesn't seem that smart.

Given how the first half panned out, taking Ba off instead of Shola was 100% the correct decision. i disagree, the entire gameplan was poor from us and changing that would have reaped more dividends than keeping a pathetic system and shit striker (shola) then hoping for the best nothing, NOTHING, in the first half suggested our style of play would succeed yet you're telling me the best decision was to play to shola's strengths as opposed to the strengths of our new guy (who out scored shola last term...) It's easier to alter personnel than to throw out the original plan completely at halftime. It wasn't a particularly attractive way to play but sometimes that's what you need to resort to when you're playing against Arsenal and they're overrunning you in midfield.

Obertan for Ba was a good sub imo. I think (or at least I really, really hope) that Ba is comfortably a better player than Shola in general, but on the day Shola was playing better and Ba looked like he was way off the pace. Subbing him was the correct decision. Obertan came on and changed the game. If Pardew did make a mistake in this aspect, it was not lining up 4-5-1 from the start.

Don't blame him. Yeah, think he should put in a transfer request now. Wouldn't begrudge him in the slightest. In fact, I think they should all go, and Pardew and his team as well, should never have come to us as we're totally shit. In fact, I think we should get rid of the club, total embarrassment to the city, wouldn't begrudge the demolition men in the slightest (though to be honest we're probably not good enough for them, they probably think we're small fry with our lop sided mess). In fact, fuck Newcastle full stop. If we can't persuade a left back to stay in the city rather than go to traditional giants like Liverpool waving wedge in his face and an unarguably greater chance of National recognition whether they're in Europe or not, we should just give up, burn it to the ground, and move to Wearside.
