Duff was a bright spark in a dull performance against Hertha. (However, still not been impressed by him at all and he still struggles to beat his man to cross)
-
Steve 'Batman' Harper, we really are becoming a team of superheroes.
-
Mark Bresciano. Other names to keep an eye out for are Burdisso (ultimatum of early next week to decide between NUFC and Fiorentina, €5m offer, Tuttomercato) and Cesare Rickler of Chievo (Gazzetta).

Keegan should get a sunglasses deal after the latest photos.

Friedel given permission to speak to Aston Villa by Blackburn. Blackburn must be close to signing a keeper/Robinson?

Shaun Custis was on SSN earlier discussing the quotes attributed to Ferguson over Berbatov. He stated that nothing was ever made up "whats the point in that" and that the source was a fan meeting with Ferguson. Most of it is a load of tosh tbh because if there was speculation on here about a certain player from supposed ITK sources, I'm sure that someone in the media would pick up on it. Newcastle will sign Shaun Wright-Phillips after he was spotted on Northumberland Street going into Foot Locker, most likely after agreeing terms on a £45k per week 4 year deal, although the presence of Joey Barton in the team caused him much distress sources claim. [Custis/] Obafemi Martins will leave Newcastle to join Super Arsenal despite claims on national TV that he wants to stay at Newcastle [Custis/].

Just been on SSN, footage with all four Spurs players at Sunderland for talks.

Piet de Visser sees Tim Krul as the future Dutch number 1. The Chelsea scout has been impressed by the young goalkeeper. "I see in Tim Krul in a number of years the new keeper of the Dutch national team," said De Visser. "He is now twenty, but may in the future the first goalkeeper. It is a pity that he now plays at Falkirk, but he is there." "I've seen him a few times. At the Youth World Cup in Peru and the famous Toulon tournament, he was voted best goalkeeper. In my opinion he made an overwhelming impression. Tim is potentially the successor to Edwin van der Sar.'' I don't think we should sell him, definately loan him out, but we need to keep him to see how he develops.

The interviewer was dead set on getting him to say something compelling. Is Oba a native speaker of another language? I thought English was standard in Nigeria. He's not much of a speaker. Yorubu? I'm sure he can speak a Nigerian creole.

Hes playing for Liverpool on Channel 5 atm in a friendly against Luzern. He looks good going forward, but a bit shaky when defending.

Franck Queudrue leaves Birmingham on a free transfer.
-
Sure he was close to going to Fulham for about £3m last season after Watford.
-
Bolton bought Muamba for £5.5m, maybe thats why they didn't buy Guthrie?

Its not a big name signing, but it could turn out to be a blessing in disguise. I haven't saw him play so don't know what to expect, but will give him a chance to impress. We need players in.

"Derby day up in the North West....." in reference to us

Not worthy of its own thread, but when we play Man United in the first game, both Anderson and Ronaldo will be missing.
-
Yeah I think he is (Hernia iirc).

Just shown Milner and Beye driving into training on SSN.

Is it since Martins changed his agent to the same company that deals with Rio Ferdinand etc from the Italian guys that all this Arsenal talk in the Sun appeared?

Just spotted this thread after finding a few names that I wrote down, don't know why I wrote them down but I did. Anyway, it was from May 2007 a France U17 0 v 1 England U17 and these players stood out: Mamadou Sakho - Defender Centre * he was the best French player Thibault Bourgeois - Striker Omar Benzerga - Midfielder/Defender Henri Saivet - Midfielder No idea how these two are getting on but Sakho looked immense, a real standout. Victor Moses - Striker (has recently broke into the Crystal Palace team) Danny Rose - Midfielder Left (seems to have stagnated at Spurs)

Yes and will become familiar with a pile of s**** as well. How did man City get in? when did they last play in Europe? 2003 I think. I'm sure KK was their manager at the time and they got knocked out by some Polish team in the early stages (Groclin).
