Based on last season Maza (28 games 3 goals 5 assists) and Nusa (31 games 4 goals 3 assists) matched Gordon's stats with similar minutes. Bahoya thrown in as he was mentioned above and all play in Germany.
-
Fair play the dedication to tracking this sort of stuff mind. Ibrahim Maza or Said El Mala perhaps.
-
I think Fulham were also hoping he would replace Silva too.
-
This is how I've understood it i.e. we don't need to use the Gordon profit before 1st July. I'd hope we do make a signing once window opens, but pretty sure the costs are spread over 3 years. If Anderson was sold abroad we'd also benefit from a solidarity payment as Everton have.
-
Yes, there is also the amortisation for Gordon to consider that would take it to about £17m. The same guy has just released UCL ££ estimations and we're in at £56m total.
-
I think the article just says that is our upper limit, we might well stick to 70% if expecting to be in Europe in two seasons. The Gordon sale potentially unlocks two additions under the £40m mark if we spend wisely.

Gordon details from Athletic: Everton to receive £3.8m + £3m solidarity £38m profit on sale for NUFC £13M into 26-27 SCR calculation Under 85% rule, £11m extra spending capacity - not considering his wage saved Basically - we're doing alright from it.

Konate to leave Liverpool on a free.

I'm the same regarding Isak and Gordon, as in I felt Isak was a bigger miss. It does make me wonder if this was the sale in 2022/23 to get Isak, Tonali and Gordon to sign for us. I know in the media it was 'win the Prem in 5 years' from Amanda, but behind the scenes with maybe they were a bit more pragmatic. I think the timing and the way this season has went also influences opinion. We'd won the cup and qualified for the Champions League which I think created an expectation to hold onto players like Isak and build around them. Whereas we've not had a good season, missed out on Europe and now expectation has tapered. The way Gordon and Isak have handled this is totally different too - so with Gordon I feel like we've got a good deal for us and him. With Isak I was totally exasperated with the media around it and just wanted him gone with the disrespect he showed to the club - the £130m feels a lot sweeter given the awful season he has had. The ultimate proof in the pudding will be how we operate in the market this summer with a domestic only schedule.

I'm happy with this deal £70m + future sale % + home friendly against Barca to be arranged. Gordon when he wanted to could be great, but it was only shown in fleeting moments. The main memories I have from this season are him lying on the floor injured against Bilbao, trudging off against Crystal Palace away, the red card against Liverpool at home and then his penalty taking. He has a move to an elite club which his agents have been working on and we can look to reinvest the money into a player that wants to play for us.
-
The reality is we will see him leave this summer, most likely to Crystal Palace. However I'd sharper look at Bruno and Thiaw who also switched off rather than single out Willock for their first goal. He isn't good enough for where we want to be, but the truth is we've finished 12th because the overall standard of the squad this season was about that level.

Aside from Chelsea who've bought players to come in July from their French B team I don't think anyone else has anything lined up? The window opens mid June so you'd expect some movement from this point, but World Cup starting just before it might delay some players. Gordon will go to Bayern, they're haggling over the fee and hoping player power makes us crumble. There interest from other clubs is likely us trying to ensure we get a fair deal. Tonali and Bruno won't go to Chelsea, but I could see us interested in Acheampong. It would be loan with obligation or permanent deal. We're surely not doing them any favours.
-
They've stayed up this season and I think had a takeover recently or new investors.
-
100% expecting them to go out on loan. With less games and Howe having a tendency to use a core group of 14-15 players those on the outskirts will either be sold or loaned out. Ideally you're getting Neave and A. Murphy into the Championship for experience. Shahar is a funny one as at the moment we're relying on Hall as a backup RB. Cordero might only be a given a chance until we replace Gordon, but the concern is the current review of the loans department so we need to get this together. Anthony Munda came out asking to go out on loan so maybe we see him in League 1/2. The other aspect is if we sign any younger profile players that are coming into the first team group then you'd potentially see some of the U21 surplus to requirements.
-
Hopefully the last we've seen of him - fingers crossed one of the newly promoted teams come in with a bid for him. He is finished - has one decent cross a match in him, but pretty much all he offers.
-
The last we will see Joe Willock in NUFC colours. Fully expecting him to join Fulham or Palace this summer.
-
I think if Chelsea had got European football I could have seen them coming in for him, but now it will have to be Bayern. Get this done before the World Cup as he is clearly gone.
-
Shambolic performance - multiple changes to formation and players moved all over the pitch. A perfect example of a group of players that didn't even go through the motions on the last day. Glad the season is over, haven't really got any attachment to those that are supposed to be representing the shirt either.
-
Fair play to them. Second season syndrome incoming, they'll have to sell a couple of players or take the UEFA £ hit next season with SCR. Big summer coming up.
-
I for one am shocked by this. They've got Emmanuel Emegha signing this summer too.
-
With the football season ending, World Cup coming up, we could really do with some content on Suds - one year on, how is he settling in. Mainly for the data and xGeeks.
-
Roger Thornton delivering the goods.
-
I think we'd be open to offers for him, potentially a club that has just been promoted, as quite telling his contract was amended last season but not extended. I'm hoping the club will move away from being too sentimental.
-
Would suggest he is away?
