I haven't said that. Point is, you were talking of Ben Arfa doing more what Maradona could do.
-
Can I have some of what your taking please? He's maybe talking about a different Ben Arfa. I mean, I know he's a good player, but he's not Maradona, or Messi.
-
He would come to Old Trafford, and tear Man Utd apart? With a team like Bremen?
-
Would be funny if it wasn't true.
-
Or he should simply sack Llambias and bring in someone who has a clue how to deal with transfers... Does Llambias even deal with all of our transfers? Aye, don't know tbh. But who else does it?

He seems to have something above the e: http://cache.daylife.com/imageserve/06uc2Ph2MF0pJ/610x.jpg

Never going to happen.

There has been one game of the season and still two weeks left of the transfer window. Hatem Ben Arfa might not be signing -> we're not going to sign any players -> we're going to be relegated -> the club will disappear into obscurity. Awesome. Even if Ben Arfa doesn't sign, we still have 2 weeks to sign a player who's good enough for us. Even if we don't sign anybody, it isn't said we will go down (allthough, the chances would be higher).

Yes and no imo. We look a bit more settled in defence, we look to have a decent pair of wingers this time around, and Carroll may be able to get 10+ goals this year if we're lucky. However, Harper looks too easy to beat, we have a clear problem with the right back slot, our midfielders are all very slow, lacking in creativity, and none of them are good at protecting the back defense, and aside from Carroll, we're probably going to be hopeless in attack. Furthermore, if we get a couple of injuries to the likes of Jonas/Enrique/Carroll, we're probably fucked. Agree. But Carroll isn't our only striker who isn't hopeless imo. I still think that Lovenkrands will be able to do a job. He has some pace and showed some good movement last year as well.

Meanwhile, Ben Arfa has chained himself to Hughton's desk, and is screaming, 'Please Mr Hughton, don't let them take me away!' Maybe Ireland played Tunisia away in 1987 and Hughton is, in fact, Ben Arfa's birth father. Say that to The Sun and they'll make a nice story of it.
-
Is that Ireland/Milner deal done btw? And if it is, is he available to play against us? Edit: Just checked it, couldn't find anything on City's site, but bbc gave me the news.
-
Doubt Hughton's still here if we really get relegated.

Then go and get yourself a fucking car! I've got a car! Yeah, that's not the point, though. I've go one as well, but it's a long way to drive to Barcelona to pick up Hleb and then to Newcastle.

Don't know if Trochowski of Hamburg would be realistic? Didn't have a great world cup, seems a little bit out of favour at Hamburg.
-
Deco would have been an option as well. But he's gone back to Brazil. Not a great player anymore, but better than the "playmakers" we have.
-
The Bremen fans not even want him ("bad boy", skipped training sessions, we've got this sort of player... )
-
Don't think they'll buy a direct replacement for Özil. They have enough players in that position. And as their sporting director said, they don't want to buy a direct replacement, but want to do it more like they did it when Diego went to Juventus, to work with the players they had.
-
Ben Arfa isn't mentioned at all in that article. They don't want to buy a replacement for Özil (Wesley would have been bought anyway) because they have enough players to replace him with Marin and Hunt.
-
I guess it was the manager (sporting director) who said at a press conference (yesterday) that they don't want to spend the Özil money straight into a new player.
-
Is that "realistic" though? Would love him to come here, no doubt about it. FM keeps telling me it's realistic after we get promotion. FM never lies, surely? Aye, has to be realistic, then. The only problem left, is that his beloved nr. 23 is already on the back of the great Shola.

Any news about that? Just looked throught the internet, there seems to be only one German article about that (who have just picked up the story from the french article).
