if we spend above 5m on a (scottish) player who has never performed above championship level and is 27 years old i'd be fucking amazed, absolutely staggered not happening at that price if you ask me, only way it makes sense is if the club know he's got a peanuts buyout somehow or leeds are selling very, very cheap and he's being brought in as backup to a more proven player

In football terms I'll say again the only time I've seen him play anyway decent was last season in that purple patch when they were moving well as a team and he was getting up in support of their shit strikers. Considering that might be his best position/role then he's a waste of time for us anyway as those are all the things pardew doesn't want. agree for the most part, as usual i firmly believe the tiote/colo (and others tbf) negatives could be better mitigated with a better manager/coaching setup but in an ideal world aye they'd not even be starting

your propensity to isolate individuals from the chaos surrounding the team comes to the fore again dude...pardew has one plan and when it works the defence is protected fine and well enough by those players, problem is the plan is shite and when teams don't roll over to allow us to play it everything falls apart in all areas i don't attribute this in the main to the individual
