Oh, is that all? No problem, we're good at that stuff. "The Chronicle understands that Newcastle United managing director Lee Charnley has pushed hard to see the deal through for the 20-year-old, and the transfer is all but done." he's a 1.5m nobody man, why are the chron of all papers making out like he's pulling off the fucking italian job?

How are Spurs off for CB's? Pardew wet dream, straight swap for Dawson. I for one would be honoured to see Mbiwa challenging for Europe with Spurs next season (while our menagerie of lumbering oafs challenge for a place on the comedy circuit).

Not worthy of a thread - 2018 FIFA World Cup edition

Said something ages back more basic than this - all that needed to happen was the major European nations get together and tell FIFA they're not moving their calendars to accommodate this WC and they're not playing in 50 degree heat, so we'll sit it out thanks very much. Would all have been sorted the moment that happened. -
Assume they're traditionalists and consider having 11 players on the pitch an important feature of the game.

He's literally only had one decent period of form hasn't he? Last season around the time he scored against us, can't recall him even existing outwith that.
-
Woeful if true, just utterly woeful. Also begs the question of why Ashley is sticking with Carr if he is backing Pardew in all this? One of them is obviously 'wrong' in the fundamentals of what they're doing and how they perform their job.

US, Korea and someone else. Seems too far gone for them to buy it a second time to me, too much scrutiny now. -

will it be that simple? i imagine if the allegations are proven then the countries that lost out to qatar will at the very least try to force a repeat of the vote -
Don't like the with of the pin stripes on the home shirt, if the same/similar as the away then that's a quality couple of kits.

well to clarify the owners been the same since league one, whats changed is the chairman, apparently the owner wanted to sell as soon as she inherited it but he advised to wait until in the prem or something like that. Cortese leaving adds unpredictability to it all, seems common knowledge the daughter wants fuck all to do with it and now she's lost the manager and potentially 2 of their better players in a week with more bids to follow. Chances are she might fuck it off and sell up rather than try to rebuild when she doesn't care and had nothing riding on it.

Considering what we know about the research the club put into valuing players it's pretty obvious they also consider heavily the financial status of the club they're trying to buy from and in their calculations weigh heavily the fact they're offering cash up front. In theory I see the idea behind it, problem is it doesn't fucking work very well in practice. Cash up front add well man We need a yellow three wheel van

the point is you can gamble, spend 8m bananas and hope that the 8m bananas is enough to earn you 60m bananas. in a nutshell

which is quite a feat when you consider he managed to take the title off the best team of the last however many generations, that was mourinho's greatest achievement imho...he stopped the unstoppable and they've truthfully never been the same since
-
doesn't matter what he is, if he can't carry 8 other players it's all over anyways

But in January they were in danger of getting relegated, so wanted more if they were going to lose him. Kept him and stayed up so i guess their plan worked. ashleymatics i love the made up little phrases that pop up on here. if there's an economic phrase in existence for taking advantage of a situation on the cheap it needs to officially be renamed to ashleymatics

i'd sign whickham in a heartbeat, in the right team he's going to be a very good striker

Doesn't mean much to be fair, Debuchy cost about the same that was rejected the previous Summer. Also ignoring that, clubs strapped for cash are more likely to negotiate in the summer than in the middle of a season. Mind i won't believe any of this until i see a picture on .co.uk holding up the kit and a crappy little write up about him as a player. if we get him it basically means carr is some kind of omnipotent god
-
if there are going to be any further protests/newspaper campaigns it should probably be aimed at this ashley, like money? how many players have increase in value under pardew? you've had 2 big sales while the rest of them diminish in value as the days tick by this cunt is costing you money [not suggesting that should be a banner by the way]

50k? english and had a good second half of the season...just get the agent to send the DVD around with "available on a free" and you're set tbh i imagine we're agents wet dreams across the country, imagine the amount of highlights DVD's for wank players we'll turn up on these days

2014/15 NUFC Kits - New third kit revealed on page 143

the wonga stamp on that sadly i can believe that's how it might look don't mind that strip if that's what i did look like tbh, might not be classic stripes but it's more stylish than anything else we've had under puma imo -
also, if he's any good and the fee is in that general area i'd be amazed if someone else didn't come in for him
-
8m euros? get to fuck man, what were we bidding in january
-
just hope he only goes out on loan until pardew fucks this next season up, best case he gets the sack, mapou plays well on loan and a better manager brings him home best shot we have probably
