while i think this is way ott i have the same gut feeling, in the same way i felt that hughton had took us as far as he was going around the time he was bagged a better manager could get more out of what we've got imo, but that's a blindingly simplistic way to look at things - for a start how many "better managers" could work under MA and DL?
  2. hey, everyone's entitled to fantasy football like but i don't know what it says about you when your fantasy doesn't include wanting one of the most successful managers in world football at a club like ours
  3. nowt wrong with a short fling man as long as both sides get what they want out of it pie in the sky anyways, mourihno would have to be kidnapped and brainwashed to agree to be our manager
  4. mourihno and mike ashley would be the perfect couple if ashley got behind him and decided to unleash all manner of tomfoolery on the league just to piss off the blue beards

i understood they wouldn't be ready or some shit, villa was their likely return? if they're back and ba starts then my mood will considerably improve
  6. "See, their morals, their "code"... it's a bad joke, dropped at the first sign of trouble. They're only as good as the world allows them to be. I'll show you. When the chips are down, these uh, these "civilized people", they'll eat each other. See, I'm not a monster. I'm just ahead of the curve."
  7. losing to brighton is a much more attaractive option, i agree
  8. people really think he'll go if he doesn't win the league or CL? i'd be surprised and why is no-one talking about him as england manager? i suppose everyone is going anti-foreigner after cappello like but there's a better candidate for england i've yet to see him

we'll see, i'm talking as much about momentum as much as anything - if we lose to blackburn that'll be 3 shitty results on the bounce and ba/cisse may well not be able to right that fast enough, maybe then again maybe it's just the cutting edge we're missing, still makes blackburn a key result 'cause they won't be playing in it

said before that blackburn is a key game for us coming up, and that was based on beating brighton pardew needs to engineer a win on wednesday like or i honestly think things might taper off
  11. FA insider decribes footballers and twitter “like giving a monkey a chainsaw”
  12. class defence from redknapp like, i almost want him to get away with it now should be piss easy for anyone to verify like, what is he 60 something? if he's been unable to write his entire life then it'd be fairly easy to establish surely?
  13. ah ok that's the bit i was missing, there's another game to play - fair enough then really, shame, i see blackburn as a key fixture for us coming up
  14. class! senegal out, fuck that noise anyways man why are people talking about them being back for villa or wolves games, why not blackburn?
  15. barca comeback in la liga this season hasn't been mentioned, can you imagine the fucking meltdown they'll have in madrid man?
  16. assuming any of that is true this is the somewhat frustrating aspect of MA's tenure - this lad could be a great player and long term colo replacement but he's 3m above our current budget, probably head to spurs or arsenal and be class
  17. ronaldihno gone back to being a footballer again yet?
  18. i think wiltord was a good player by the end but 13m was a lot of money at the time like...that's 5 big money successes in well over a decade so far, unless there are more might be more enlightening to list the big money failures: jeffers, arshavin...er fuck knows? he's not made that many big buys to be fair to him
  19. this, i think we might have a little rought patch 'til Ba & Cisse get back - hopefully they come back and tear the mackems a near hole and then we take it from there
  20. walcott is fucking terrible man, chamberlain looks twice the player he is already arsenal are in trouble imo, as tooj has said they're one player away from from being a very average team (RVP) going to take a lot of money to get them challenging again question actually - how many big money buys has wenger made and gone on to have relative success? not saying there aren't any but not that many stand out overmars is about all i've got at the moment
