it's fucking wild how unhinged he already seems for someone with such rock solid backing with the people who hired him -
I think Holloway has made a push for the Brexitland PFM Prime Minister slot there, a dark horse but it's a bold pitch Allardyce could be his Chancellor, need to find a role for Redknapp probs
-
that is remarkable

5-4-1 would be my guess. Standard no idea what to do so stick loads in defence and hope not to get a dicking. Then get a dicking. -
Yes you can get a free trial. It’s alright, decent reports, doubt I would pay a tenner a month though £2.50 a month with the deal. It's 100% worth it. There a link for that deal?

Yep, looks to have a heart the size of a pea. Hate shit like this. Perhaps he's just a professional being managed by utter fucking morons and thinks he shouldn't bother trying too hard when he's being hung out to dry by said morons. 2 games is not enough to decide he doesn't have heart.
-
on the contrary find it really promising. if the away fans have called it a day already then hes in deep s*** 100% this, if they can't muster a rendition of Steve Brewcies black & white army in the second game of the season then he's already a walking corpse Honestly think that the majority of the 'give him a chance' brigade will have already had the wind taken out of their sales by the two opening games. That includes his champion journalist, Luke Ryder who is getting even more defensive. I just don't think anybody expected such a lack of direction so quickly. Getting humped off Norwich should be a wake up call for even the most delusional Geordies. He's so horribly predictable as well, like Pardew was. He's bound to overreact to Norwich now as we come into some harder games so it'll be ultra defensive yet completely without direction or impetus and we'll end up getting dicked anyways.

He’s been (deservedly) savage on Bruce - surely close to being worthy of his own thread if he keeps it up don't think savage is fair tbh, he's been forensically critical and attacking him for the right things
-
Fair play to Craig Hope even if he writes for the Mail. Critical of Bruce but balanced and not an attack. Puts other so called journalists to shame.

Almiron was one of Rafa's actual picks. So the narrative on him will shift between "See, we did back Rafa with a record signing of a great, young star" and "Look at this chancer from the MLS Rafa wasted all that money on" where appropriate. And that's the thing on here Almiron was Rafa's so is beyond reproach. Rafa didn't want Joelinton so he is not given any slack. It's almost the HBA love in all over again Almiron was great under Rafa and looks lost under Bruce. There's a clue somewhere as to who is to blame for that. Go on, reach for it. You can do it Luke. Ah, I get it now. Worker likes his boss so puts a shift in. Worker doesn't like new boss so takes his pay and phones it in. Sounds like he needs to give himself a shake and roll his sleeves up. Thanks for pointing that out. You don't appear to be posting in good faith but if you were and this is remotely what you think it's going on I pity you.

I'm on team Mandoon here but you could be s*** at it, what's your track record? Signed Hazard, £138 million, paid in instalments over 48 months. £15,000 goal bonus. No Malo

I'm on team Mandoon here but you could be shit at it, what's your track record?

Was thinking more of a short term deal to end of season, then he wouldn't have to give up shit.

Not so sure anymore, Mourinho seems to be going through a midlife crisis or something at the moment. Not saying it'll happen I just wonder when Bruce walks or is binned whether he'll aim for the quality route instead of the PFM route.
-
There's something else, it's not this imo. Whatever we think of Ashley he's smart enough to know that his own decisions relegated the club twice and Rafa was the best manager he's ever had through the door. Yet despite this he's gone and made the same decision again, arguably worse tbh.
-
I do wonder if, once it becomes clear we're down under Bruce, Ashley might go for Mourinho a la the Rafa gamble. One thing he'll have presumably learned is that £6m or whatever for a top class manager is a lot less than £100m you need to prop up a shit one.
-
Hope. Extinguished. Won't return until Ashley sells or dies. The funny thing is that the vast majority of clubs will never have a manager of that calibre, nevermind a club our size. Even the clubs that strive to improve by and large will never be lucky enough to get anything as good as Rafa. We threw him in the bin. Pull the plug.
-
Staggering how well this is going tbh
-
So they were right, he was always European class then. FML
-
Never heard of him. McTominay on the other hand is quality. Wouldn't expect you to know unless you're watching all of our games religiously like some sort of obsessed weirdo? He's the next Darren whatshisname, cept he won't have a Fergie team to carry him.
-
Too many variables surely? I would think the only way to realistically work it would be to compare TV and Commercial revenues. Costs like wages and player sales should be ignored.
-
Still hanging in there after 12 years though hey buddy. But it's the niggling over stadium attendance in a game this week that broke you. Well ok then.
-
Stopped reading here because in that game Sunday in saw enough to think he's good enough if being managed correctly. He's just not going to be.
-
I took the next bit as the explanation, that they only wanted to sign players under 24 instead?
