we're really not like doesn't necessarily mean that everything is shelvey's fault or whatever just that once ki came in things clicked for the team as a whole largely due to the way he played it out per loki's post...from that point on shelvey was done under rafa imo especially as we had 2 cb's that could play the hollywood balls shelvey was doing anyways we went from have 1 tactic/threat - shelvey direct to the strikers from deep - to still having that option but also being able to play through the middle and move the whole team up, bringing the full backs into play higher up the pitch etc. not sure what you were watching

it's impressive/depressing that even after 12 years of absolute piss taking we're still not sure if people will stop going wonder if ashley deliberately chose us for this or if he just got lucky
-
wait though, isn't bruce only discernible attribute as a football manager his man management skills?
-
ki longstaff hayden shelvey saivet this wretched little cunt should never see the light of day, but of course steve bruce is now the manager
-
neesy & tron Ki started the ball rolling then longstaff and hayden carried it on and improved , shelvey held us back if anything though that may be a little harsh

monday's fucked, so they've got 2 days to complete 2 or 3 deals...why even commit that to writing? fucking idiot
-
incredible stamina from seymour here like
-
possibly, seems odd to me
-
So why did we start winning last season after Shelvey was dropped?
-
mental
-
should this not move to the boycoutt thread now?
-
I think this is the whole point. My understanding of supporting a football club is of course that you don't stop during hard times or when the team is losing. But that is literally exactly what you've done we haven't started losing (yet) seymour

Maybe a bit harsh. I'd say Ki is up there with him, Schar as well but I'm not sure who else would be in the conversation. Ki is a good passer? He seems like the ultimate 'nothing player' to me. Couldn't even tell you what he is supposed to be decent at? Whatever people's views are on Jonjo's contribution, comments and all round ability. His passing is outrageously good, IMO. ki changed the entire shape of our play when he came in last season, then longstaff came in and did the same thing even better when he fucked off to the asian cup What did he do exactly, bar run around slightly more than Shelvey? I'm not even sure I'm being sarcastic, anymore I genuinely can't remember Ki doing anything decent, or contributing much. Just seems like another squad player that isn't good enough, to go with the other 10-15 that we already have. shelvey was playing the QB role and the team was very static/separated so perez & rondon were operating in isolation a lot of the time, once ki got in the team he started transitioning the play with shorter passes that encouraged other players to move up the pitch and consequently the whole team moved up leaving the forwards much less isolated it was incredibly noticeable at the time, we looked a different team the moment he came in tbf i see what you're saying in that he didn't bring any hollywood atttributes to things but he was a far better fit under rafa keeping things moving in the right way

wonder if we're asking crazy money for him? seems really odd no one is remotely bothered trying to sign him, not even heard of anyone interested

surely you can see that a sub-40k crowd live on sky would turn the focus to his running of the club? That I agree with yes, it would. An empty stadium would put major pressure from the media towards Ashley. But Ashley is not the type of guy that likes been told what to do, you can put as much pressure on him as you like. But the bottom line is he sells the club when HE wants he's reacted in some way anytime there's been focus and pressure on him man, problem is it's never been sustained as he just turns up on sky and lies about a takeover or some other shit and everyone forgets about it SD is everything to him, if there's sustained negative focus on his running of NUFC you don't know what he'd do, it's certainly more likely to make him do something other than he has been for the last 12 years than every cunt turning up and giving him money
-
looks more physically capable than those two tbf

And there we go... You don't support a football club because of how good or bad it is, or if it qualifies for Europe or even attempts too for that matter. You support a football club, because its YOUR football club, not because you have a good team or not. To say 'What's what's the point?' I'm sorry but you sound entitled and deluded. Should the majority of fans in the country just stop going then? this isn't the f***ing point and you must know this, we've all stuck with the club through everything but we have a person in charge who not only isn't trying to make the club the best it can be (your club you say) but is actively impeding it's progress deliberately man we've been s*** for the vast majority of all of our lives, this isn't about that He's just said if we arent competing for trophies or Europe then what's the point? If that's the ideology, then that's not sticking through the club through thick and thin, that's just not turning up before because we're shit he said interested in, which to me denotes a period of sustained improvement towards a sporting goal, everything every other club in the division is doing but us

yes, they tried and they failed...it's happens, but they certainly spent money and tried, changed the manager and tried
-
charnley is presumably learning german & portugese in order to save on expensive translation costs, could run and run this one lads
