Don't see how you can say he's clearly better than Gayle Less minutes played per goal/assist in the PL. Also doing well for himself as a full international. Gayle also has his history in the PL working against him. He's been here many times and failed each time.

FWIW, I do think Newcastle United can get a better striker than Mitrovic, and I would very likely replace him if given the option even though I do really like him. As things stand though, he is clearly the best striker on our books. Beggars belief to think otherwise. It doesn't mean he's a world class striker, just that he's the best we've got.

I'm fairly certain I saw an article where they were crowned the least liked English club in the world. I always imagined we are quite an unpopular club as well, amongst other fans. I don't know what shape you're in, but assuming you're just in average shape and have the football skills of your average joe who kicks the ball about every now and then, either with mates or in an amateur league, then no chance. None whatsoever. Was a show on over here about a guy who wanted to check just how "hard it could be" to be a professional at different sports, and he was in fairly decent shape. He got to train with Rosenborg for a month and got to play up front in a friendly against a team in the division below - he had no chance. None whatsoever. Barely touched the ball. I imagine in the PL, where the talent of players is probably ten or even twenty times that of Rosenborg... no chance. No way.
