  1. Sorry but i'll go abroad during the summer... I am not crazy to spend my holidays in Paris where are you going, then? Morroco? Algeria? Tunisa? Why do you think i'm going to North Africa ?? Where are you going then? You can always come to Newcastle. Thanks for the invitation but i'm going to a place which is much more sunny than Newcastle lol (near 35°) http://randomfunnypicture.com/wp2/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/meanwhile-in-finland.jpg
  2. Only proper football interested Norwegian billionares would be the ones that crashed Wimbledon into the ground. Really don't see where that rumour would even come from.
  3. Checking it out Russia and France were 1st seeds for the last draw. Dunno why I thought Greece was up there, yonks since 2004 now.
  4. If Norway win against Lithuania on Tuesday we'll be first seeds for the WC qualifiers draw along with Spain, Holland, Germany, England, Portugal, Italy and Croatia, what the hell?

@MsiDouglas Mark Douglas Definitely true. Confirmed by Ranger's ppl & club. Ordered to go 4 hours ago Still weirds me out how Sunday Sun (of all papers) got the scoop though.

Starting to think this is just made up bullshit by the Sunday Sun, as per usual. No quotes, backtracking saying that if there's no takers come July he'll still be playing for us. (In other words saying "Just in case I'm wrong, here's me saying he could still be with us and I'll be correct either way.")

It's just idiocy selling him now. Send him on loan, see if he makes progress playing regularily and monitor him. If he doesn't progress as a player, get rid. No harm done. If he does progress we potentially have another good striker on our hands.
  8. Loss aside, I did love how Tom Høgli fucking raped Ronaldo until Ronaldo just started shooting the ball instead of trying to get past him. 'twas a glorious moment when Ronaldo got so frustrated he just hacked him down after Høgli had taken the ball from him. Fucking miracle Høgli's still playing in the Norwegian league tbh, best right back we've had for ages.
  9. I hope his miss keeps Gamst up all night, fucking cunt. God I fucking hate him, twat face. Also fuck Demidov, so close to a glorious 0-0 and top of the league still with the easiest fixtures left and he fucking lets a fucking easy clearance get to Postiga, fucking semi-Commie twat, stop being a cuntbag and defend.
  10. If we can make it through the next 45 with a clean sheet I will be very happy. If only Gamst hadn't fucked up that opportunity on what was pretty much an open goal...
  11. Come on Norway, don't get raped too badly now!
  12. How often I've heard that sentence of you. The funny thing is that it seems to happen quite often (at least if Rosenborg are the last team playing on a normal Sunday). Good luck anyway. Usually get lucky at the end of unlucky weekends, very rarely end up with a loss, which is good for the lucky weekends. No chance in hell of things going well tonight though.
  13. I've some random tenner on us beating Portugal, if that goes in pretty much all my losses this weekend would be covered. Shame it has no chance in hell of happening.

  17. I love how he's debating with his followers who's the most man of Ray Mears and Bear Grylls.
  18. While I agree saying "He has to win a WC" is an abolsute non-argument, it is however not a non-argument whatsoever that it's fair to await final judgement on if Messi is "the best there's ever been" until he performs for Argentina. Why? Simply because he just so happens to only have played for what may well be the best team to ever grace a football field, with a style of play that suits him perfectly. The other people contesting for "best ever" have played in lesser teams, and commandeered them to greatness by their own virtue. For instance Maradona, who did it both for club and country. The baseline we've set for Messi is him in the best team in history. It's not easy to say he's the best there's been when that's the baseline. If he'd performed for Argentina as well on a regular basis and been the main force in their team (doesn't have to win a WC, obviously, just be as good for them as he is for Barcelona) I'd have no issue saying he's perhaps better than Maradona, but until then it's a bit of a shit argument. He'll probably never play for any other club than Barcelona in his career either, which makes it even harder to judge his brilliance due to the aforementioned baseline. Which is why it is better to measure up his performances for the only other "team" we'll see him play in, namely Argentina, and compare these performances with what he does for Barcelona. Is it the same class? Is it the same brilliance? Or is a lot of it made possible due to other great players around him at Barcelona? His greatness may well be driven by the greatness of those around him in Barcelona. It's an absolutely brilliant team. He doesn't perform as well for Argentina, against what in many ways are lesser opponents than what Barcelona often meet. It makes me question the validity of his claim to "best ever" that he can't do the same things for two teams. Does he need the other great players of Barcelona around him to be as great as we see him? Maradona didn't need that. Pele didn't need that. The list goes on. He's not a one man show, and until he is I remain unconvinced as to "greatest ever". However he is easily the "greatest right now", that I concede. But if he was in another team he could by all accounts just as easily not be the greatest right now based on his Argie performances, which makes me wonder why he should be named the "greatest ever" this early in his career.

  20. That puma just reminds me of Skirge's home shirt mock up last season with that giant puma all over it.
  21. on the same page, even.
  22. Ref's were in the right there. Obviously open to debate still given just how rarely a ref makes a call like that, same with when a ref gives a pen for holding in the box on one occasion but not in the twenty odd similar situations before or the twenty odd similar situations after.
