Aye, Northern Rock looked brilliant on the Blue home kit. Not only was it nice and simplistic but it fitted in with the style of the shirt perfectly. I get the gold kit reference, just never seen/heard that kit being called the "blue home kit" before. Either way, it's either my bad or your bad, depending on what is most common of people getting the reference or not getting it.
