Except Racing Santander and Deportivo's managers.

    Sammy Ameobi

I'm just happy we have another ten years of saying "Damn, that Ameobi sure looks like e's got potential!"
  3. At least Rosenborg will get into the Europa League.
  4. Pretty amazed at how well Strømsgodset have done against Atletico Madrid. If they keep their current crop of players they might actually be quite a good side even by european standards in two-three seasons.
  5. £10 on Strømsgodset to advance against At Madrid. It's wasted money but I just hate Atletico so much, man. The joy of them getting knocked out would be ten times greater if I made money off it so it's potentially worth it.
  6. They won the Czech league tbf. Do you not think there was a reason you were 4/1? And Rosenborg won their silly low-level European league, your point is? It's a club with low European experience that didn't look all that good in the first leg (Rather, Rosenborg looked shit). In the second leg Rosenborg was vastly superior in the first half, then they fuck up on defensive cover twice in a row in quick succesion allowing Plzen to fall back and play their counter game, which they do well enough as we'd see again after the equalizer. Not qualifying this year is more down to a really bad first leg (seemingly Rosenborg players taking the other side lightly) than the result tonight, which wouldn't have been bad if the first leg didn't get fucked up. It was the defensive errors that cost tonight's game though, as seen often this season as the CB pairing has been constantly changed and they're not well-tuned at playing together yet with both CBs at times going for the same ball, leaving loads of space beyond them. It will come with time though, the current pairing of Larsen - Wangberg will come good when they learn to know eachother better. Wangberg is still very young, but I have faith. Larsen has shown his potential on many occasions but tends to act too rashly, costing us on counters against. It's a thin line to walk, and sadly this year we got the short stick. Completely uninteresting rant over.
  7. I can live with the money loss, what I can't live with is the shame. Fucking Czech cuntbag fucking no-names. Now we have to play an Europa League qualifier against what'll probably be good opponents, fucking hell.
  8. I'm down £120, a pint glass and apparently one remote. Also I feel like shit, fucking Czech no marks. Cuntfuckbags fuck.
  9. Nar, they've been average Norwegian level + bad luck. Still easily (on paper) better than all other Norwegian teams, bar perhaps Molde and Vålerenga. Getting a few good players in this window as well apparently. Being the best team on the paper haven't helped you so far this season, and they new players will not help you tonight... European form isn't the same as league form, I'm in general not very optimistic but given that one goal is all that's needed to make it interesting again, I'd not bet against it. Especially not given Rosenborg's general performances in Europe regardless of how shit they've done in the league in the past.

  11. Ridiculous odds on Rosenborg against some Czech cunts (5.50), had to go balls deep in on that given how it's a must win for Rosenborg. £120 @ 5.50 pays £660
  12. RAWK peeps seemingly raging about the fact they might sell Aquilani.
  13. I like how Vålerenga fielded pretty much ressies and juniors and still got the draw against a pretty strong Liverpool side, pre-season friendly or not, still funny.
  14. FIFA rankings are really annoying me at this point. How are Norway 12th? They haven't qualified for any major tournament in recent times, so they have accumulated nothing from the World Cup or Euros. They have nice wins over France and Portugal, but this is really all there is. Same with Burkina Faso. Why are they ranked above Nigeria and Cameroon? They qualified for 1 out of the last three ACNs and tallied 1 point in their 2010 showing. It reminds me of when Nigeria's ranking shot up to 12th around the 2006 World Cup because we didn't qualify and got to beat many rubbish teams. FIFA rankings are basically saying what form various national sides are in, nothing more. We're one of the most in-form teams at the moment, hence we're near the top of the list. If you take it as a "THESE TEAMS HAVE THE BEST PLAYERS RIGHT NOW AND SHIT, LOLZ!" of course you'll get annoyed.
  15. Why do we always draw Iceland? They're our fucking bogey team, we always fuck up against them. Other than that I don't think the draw could've gone much better for us.
  16. We're nailed on to get France seeing how we nicked their spot in the first pot and the press was all "Now we'll avoid the pot one teams, wooo!" whilst not bothering thinking about the fact that one of the pot one teams would be in pot two.
  17. 2-1 ain't bad. Score once at Marienlyst and waa-woo-wee-waa fuck off Atlético.
  18. I have a big soft spot for Strømsgodset after living literally next door to their stadium for a year, hope they do well.
  19. Damn Strømsgodset got some nice shirts when they only have the main sponsor on.
  20. Third in the league at the moment. Full of our most pormising youngsters though, with experience (and not selling their best players) they might be a force in the future. Shouldn't be near able to beat the likes of Atlético, mind. Feeder club of Man City.
  21. Any Norwegian TV channel showing this one? Nope. Watching some Spanish stream. It's so, so, very annoying when you actually know a little bit of what they're saying yet the remaining 85% is just gibberish.
  22. Credit to Atletico, almost a full stadium for a match against a shitty Norwegian side in the third qualifying round for the EL.
