You could either argue 3D has been around for ages, or conversely you could argue it's only just come into the spotlight. Either way, your post was wank. 3D is fecking class. It comes and goes into the limelight, there's been tons of attempts earlier to make it the new standard, and it has always eventually failed. And it will again, 'cause it's a shit gimmick. That being said, if used right it's great, which Avatar is evidence of. It's just that it will never be used right, just overused because "LOLZ 3D ROCKZ!!11!!1oneone!!1!". And until it's gone again, it will continue to ruin potentially good things, which is why I absolutely hate it.
