Ukraine is in a group of 5, France in a group of 6. Results against lowest team in 6-team groups are removed. Ukraine therefore has 20 points, France 19. Going by point b), as they are equal on point a), Ukraine gets the highest seed of the two.

How are seedings calculated? Seedings are based on overall European Qualifiers rankings, which are determined as follows (results against teams in sixth place are discarded): a) final position in group b) points c) goal difference d) goals scored e) away goals scored f) number of wins g) number of away wins h) lower disciplinary points total (3 points for red card including for second booking, 1 point for single yellow card for a player in a match) i) position in overall UEFA Nations League rankings --- Fairly straightforward, unless France should be first seed based solely on being a historically bigger footballing nation. any seeding system that has the world cup champions and previous euros runner ups who topped their qualifying group below ukraine who lost all their matchs at euro 2016 and failed to qualify for the world cup is clearly flawed and needs an overhaul. This isn't about who's a bigger country its about france's recent record being excellent and somehow still being in pot 2 below a very mediocre team You can be World Cup holders and not qualify for the next World Cup.

They're seeded, they're just not a top seed because of the seeding rules of the competition they are in. I really don't see the issue. There's a set of rules with regards to seeding in the competition they are competing, they didn't make the top cut because of those rules, which apply to each competing nation.

a higher seed than the fucking world champions though?! Whatever anyone did at the WC has no influence on the EC. For instance, the reigning WC champs could end up not competing in the next WC should they not qualify normally.

I really, really wish he had gone "I am the humble one"

Again, not talking about performance at the club. Talking about why the appointment made sense at the time for the club.
-
Ole had done really well with the Man Utd reserves and knew the club culture, which would no doubt have had a role to play at a time when their identity was lost. You can essentially just discount everything else.
-
Talking about the merits of the appointment, not calibre of the managers.

I wonder what had happened if Barcelona saw Pep as a failed ex-player tbh.

Just the 5th hattrick this season, 18 games 26 goals Pub league etc. Top scorer in the CL as well, though
-
Haaland with another hattrick today.

I had Inter as the last match on a slip that would've won ÂŁ1100 from ÂŁ9. I withdrew in the 81st minute at ÂŁ210 after initially deciding I wouldn't withdraw until the end of the 83rd minute as my own hard limit, but the withdrawal sum started dropping drastically and I panicked. I had the stream open on Unibet as I withdrew. The second, the literal fucking second, the withdrawal went through - Inter scored. Jesus fucking christ.

It'll 100% be breach of contract due to the seriousness of the injury. I've for example heard many athletes under contracts can't drive motorcycles due to them being overrepresented in serious injuries and so on. He'll have engaged in risky unprofessional behavior and gotten seriously injured, Derby shouldn't be forced to pay his wages when he, possibly, broke whatever terms might have been in their contract.

I don't think that's very relevant. I have to disagree, I think it’s hugely relevant. If players think it’s detrimental to the game then there’s something wrong. I bet it’s not just the top players either. Imagine scoring a goal and feeling the adrenaline rush and now having to stop and think whether it actually counts or not. It takes a huge part of the game away from the players and the spectators. Almost as if offsides or fouls never existed before VAR.

It won't be behind closed doors, in the UEFA/FIFA rules they can just fill the stadium with kids under 14 and one adult per 10 kids. Romania was supposed to have a closed doors punishment against Norway, they had over 30k in the stadium.

Solskjær wants Haaland and Haaland says he wants to re-unite with Solskjær. Probs happening in January if Solskjær isn't gone by then.
-
Shame for him, but what about Andy Carroll?

I, too, have been kissed.

Wouldn't Bulgarians be counted as Slavs? If so, the Nazis would have killed the lot of them in the end.

Upon first glance this read like a sudden heel turn from Neesy and his respect for homosexuality
-
I put ÂŁ50 on us to win because it's the most NUFC thing that could happen. (it'll be a draw, there are no winners)

They were, they advanced in Europe under Solskjær in a tough group. Again, I don't understand this criticism. Just because his Man Utd are absolutely horrid doesn't negate his Molde being good. They're two different teams in two different circumstances with two different set of expectations. If Solskjær got sacked from Man Utd and went back to Molde, he'd no doubt do well with Molde again. I’m not saying they weren’t good I’m saying people using it as a justification for him in any way being a good manager and capable of PL management, at a club like man United is ridiculous. That it is. A better justification for him would actually be how well the Man Utd U23s were under him rather than doing well with a Norwegian team.

They're two completely different beasts, one of them he's proven he can deal with very well and the other he's so far proven he's out of his depth.
