He’s a good player and would be a good signing, I just don’t necessarily think he would be a great signing. The next Van Dijk or Kompany is out there somewhere and it’s not Guehi IMO. On his views, I wouldn’t necessarily say he actually hates gay people or that what he did should rule him out as a signing. I expect he’s probably stuck between the outdated bigoted ideology he was raised with and being a normal decent enough person. So not a write off morally, he just needs to grow some more.

Quansah is just as much of a risk as a player from abroad, he’s not proven himself to be a good or consistent player yet. He’s not a safe bet just because he’s in the premier league.

Quansah has a bad season though, I don’t think if we’re looking to push for CL next season you put him straight in the starting XI. I think he would need a season to develop.

Quanash has had a shit season and needs a lot of work, I wouldn’t be picking him ahead of Schar, Burn, or Botman any time soon. For the amount he would cost you could get an already developed player abroad.

He would love it at a club where the fans celebrate for 2 minutes, then start whining about how they only won one trophy that year and they could’ve been better.

It’s pretty surprising that the usual geniuses in the media are going to bat for Bruce again. What has happened to both Bruce and Newcastle since he left has proved us right, and we have ex-players validating our opinions on him,… but still they insist on trying to make the case for him.
