    Tino Livramento

Porro is pap defensively, Nunes has become a better RB. I’ll be pretty happy if Livramento signs a new deal and stays.
  2. It sounds like Bournemouth are going to get ransacked again this summer tbf. They’ve lost Senesi, and Scott and Kroupi look likely to go.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Competition is good, especially as only Bruno was good enough this season. Joelinton needs to play less if he’s going to stay fit and Miley has a bad injury. If Ramsey wants to be a first team regular he either needs to improve a lot or go somewhere else.

    See Sunderland as well.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

We need loads of incoming and outgoings regardless of what Howe says Bare minimum Ramsdale replacement Tripper replacement LB backup Willock replacement Gordon replacement Strong possibles Livramento replacement Tonali replacement And really we could do with replacing a CB, RW, and ST.

    Afonso Moreira at LW please.
  7. It’s a good sale and I’m hoping it will fund rebuilding the front 3, because none of them have been good enough for a while. I’m surprised it’s Barca he’s going to, he’s not the type of player I’d associate with them.
  8. We’ve had plenty of time for it.
  9. Obviously we should try to get a bit more, but I would be happy with that figure.
  10. You’re failing to understand the dynamic that the financial rules have created. I’m not sure if you’re doing it on purpose.
  11. Rogers would want to move to Chelsea because Chelsea have a better chance of competing at the top than Aston Villa. Villa’s chances of competing at the top are restricted by the financial rules. Without these rules, their owners would be investing more and players would find Villa more attractive.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Agents will always give us plenty of encouragement. It helps force a bid from a club they actually want to sign for and enables them to say “we have x salary on the table”. We were used to grease the wheels last summer, it seemed very obvious at times, especially by the time the Sesko bid went in.
  13. Rogers carried them at times this season, usually they didn’t look very good to me but then he would pop up and make the difference.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

I’m not sure we were unlucky this season. Us losing points from winning positions is because our tactics are inflexible and we have poor game management. We can’t control possession and resist a press. It was a weakness even when we were good.

Could get even more depressing in Autumn.

Tbh if you’re a player and you’re looking for reasons that things will be a lot better next year, I’m not sure what you would come up with. The only change I can see is we’ve hired Ross Wilson, which is a bit of a so what.

Chelsea don’t have Europe next season either, and they say they don’t offer crazy wages anymore. We shouldn’t be losing anyone to them.

You can ignore any rumour that is about a swap deal.

I don’t think Howe is interested in that type of midfielder.
  20. It’ll be a sad sight if our form continues next season and the crowd gets ugly.
  21. Conceding goals can have a negative effect on a teams performance.
  22. I like it. For me though impossible for them to make a buyable shirt as long as they have the blank bit on the back.
  23. The January window was the killer for me. We were in need of a couple of players and the European places were wide open. Nothing got done and the CEO called it exceptional. In the end we got exactly what we deserved. I’ve no idea what to expect from the summer window, hopefully something better than exceptional.
  24. I think most teams in the premier league would’ve matched our CL performance. You would have to shit the bed not to get into the playoff, and then we got a team that would come 20th in the premier league.
  25. It’s a 1 or 2. Thiaw - decent enough, but he’ll need a leader as partner. Ramsdale - pap. Goodbye. Ramsey - very expensive midtable player. I can’t give much credit for this. Woltemade - did some good things but realistically I think we’ll do well to break even and get someone more suited to us and the league. Elanga and Wissa - £100m bomb squad material, shouldn’t be part of the first team squad anymore. You get minus points for these.
