    Nobby Solano

I said that was a good idea. Kudos to me.

    Damien Duff

    I wouldn't be surprised.

    Forget Riquelme

Riquelme could maybe work in a 4-4-1-1 similar to the position Elano plays at City, it would be a risk though. IF we did get him i'm 90% sure it would be for a 4-5-1

I freakin love Riquleme, incredible player! Would only work if we played it on the ground though.
  5. I think i could live with it. I don't think anyone can win it without spending huge amounts tbh.
  6. I'm split between Essien and Fabregas, both awesome at what they do.
  7. You can't put RED on a Newcastle shirt man!
  8. The stadiums will be 100% full of upper middleclass people. The lower classes will be forced out and will have to watch quidditch(or whatever).
  9. Good stuff, i'm starting to warm to the little toerag.
  10. I'd like to see it tried with either Butt or Geremi behind them to give them a bit of freedom.
  11. I couldn't give a toss, they can have him as far as i'm concerned.
  12. I also hate the man, he's worse than Motson. Why does he have to be so bloody dramatic and biased??!?!!?!!!
  13. Spot on, they can't hold onto the ball and pass it around. Smith and Butt are so bad i can't put it into words. We need an Elano desperately.
  14. Play Viduka and get plenty of crosses into the box, and i think we'll have a good chance of winning. Kasper is unbelievably bad on crosses, he flaps about more than Robinson.
  15. I can't say i'm a big fan of Barton, but for me it is anyone but Smith. Get him in the side.
  16. Are we sure Oba can play in the goal hanger position?
  17. I don't understand what Given has done to warrant being dropped. He's proven over the years that's he's the "the man". He doesn't deserve to be messed about.
  18. They don't have a great track record together mind. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/euro_2008/article2419302.ece "Owen/Alan Smith 517min, 0 goals"
  19. What's that got to do with anything? He's our player now, why shouldn't we play to his strengths? Play to his strengths yes, you should always do that with your strikers, but don't go buying players to get the best out of him when we don't know whether he'll be staying or going whenever the window opens up. It just doesn't sound smart to me. Who do we know is staying? Do tell. We don't know, the club does though with most players - Owen isn't one of those because of his clause. Neither do i, that's why i said we should play to his strengths. All i said was that we shouldn't go buying players to get the best out of him when he might be off when the window opens.

  21. Should we build our team around a player that has a release clause of £9m? No, i'd rather not.
  22. If you're looking for the best example of "over-rated", it's right there. Good argument, you've got me. Buffon's vastly over-rated tbh. I would imagine that most people who claim he's the best in the world have seen him play all of twice. How often have you watched him out of interest? It wasn't an argument. Buffon has been around for donkeys years so naturally i have seen him many a time. He's commanding, has great reflexes, he's great on crosses, never seems to make a blunder... and basically has no apparent weakness. I'd like to hear which part of his game you think is overrated tbh because your opinion stumps me. The best goalkeeper i've ever seen without a doubt.
