  1. West Ham are a potential rival, the price should be double for them. £8m is what i would ask for.

These people are fucking idiots! Sam has said he is definitely staying, yet they carry on bulshitting.
  3. Naa Roeder would have taken the safe option and given it to Butt or Given, probably Given, whereas Allardyce is his own man and does things his way even if they're controversial. You think? He's given it Taylor because he's a geordie and it'll come across well with the fans, it's certainly not for anything he's done on the pitch for us. Er, he's from Greenwich. Yeah he was there for a week or two when he was born, don't be so picky ffs.
  4. I'd be happy with that, Given would've been the safe option, but Taylor will do a good job and IMO it will help his game. I'm just glad Butt isn't the favourite.
  5. Yup, in a 3 man midfield he'd have alot more freedom. I'd certainly take a chance on him.
  6. What's wrong with Fanni?
  7. He's mediocre at best. If we get to the end of august and we haven't signed a RB, and he is still available... THEN i would say yes... maybe.
  8. No, that's Mascherano. Mascherano isn't exactly a vicious tackler, Duscher has more in common with Gattuso.
  9. the man running the club says different and he's an accountant It was just a thought. Anyway, Chris Mort is a lawyer isn't he, not an accountant.
  10. Maybe Ashley is waiting for the club to be delisted before he puts his hand in his pocket.
  11. Beye is nails, Stelios knocked his teeth out during their waffa cup game and he just got up and carried on.
  12. People seem to be going around in circles on the Taylor issue. Some realise he has the potential to be a very good player, and others have an irrational hatred for him. That isn't going to change.
  13. Keane's got aggression, but that's pretty much it. I've never bought the "hardman" thing.
  14. Andy's actually quite right. It does take him an age to beat his man and he can't cross for toffee. Ofcouse he can cross, although it is inconsistant. The problem is he hasn't had a proper target in the box for him this season, no one was making the runs and most of the time they didn't even have the height.
  15. Rafa is just showing us how it shouldn't be done. Since June 2006 Rafa has signed 18 foreign youth players, and i'll eat my face if Rafa has real plans for all of them. All he's doing is signing players and hoping one of them will turn out good. He's taken the scattergun approach, not the smart one. IMO foreign kids should only be signed if we have real plans for them, like with Krul and Zog.
  16. Bridge is an awesome player, and has a sweet left foot. But we missed the boat with him last summer, this season he signed a new contract and has played alot of games. We've no no chance.
  17. Well Smith sucks, so i suppose i'd go for the first one.

And i wouldn't really say it's a conclusion, it's just the impression that i got from the few times that i've seen him, the last time was probably when Bolton played them in the waffa.

You've come to that conclusion having seen him in one game against a naff Newcastle side, three years ago? From what i saw ofcourse, did i forget to add that bit?

This guy actually made an impression on me when we played Marseille, i was very impressed, and quite annoyed with him for he was a dirty bugger and was pulling Al's shirt and barging him about all game. I remember he was strong in the air, the tackle, and was often in the right place at the right time. Just what we need and will fit into the premiership well IMO.
  21. I agree, utterly pointless signing and would be a waste of money - even if he cost 100k i wouldn't be happy.
  22. I'll cry if we sign Smith to replace one of those two, Smith would maybe be a worthy replacement for Ameobi - NOT martins or Owen.
