It looks pretty certain that Brentford aren’t selling Wissa. They have no replacement and haven’t been open to negotiating. They’ll see out the window and offer him a pay rise, maybe with a release clause.

With 4 days left we can’t be hoping Wolves get someone else in that makes them more open to selling, anything could go wrong with that transfer.

They’re pretty much guaranteed relegation without him, selling doesn’t make sense regardless of how much we can realistically offer IMO.

There does seem to be a flaw in trying to do most of our business in a league where they opposed our takeover, and then when it happened all got together to invent rules to prevent us being successful.

If Isak is getting his wish granted then I want 2 strikers and a quality midfielder. Seems unlikely.

While that’s true, he’s unlikely to be a long term solution for us and there’s no PSR profit to be made here. Plus if we’re not selling Isak this is a hell of a lot of money.
