I expect we’ll make quick signings after we’ve moved on from Ekitike and Botman. I don’t have much confidence is those signings happening.

Any difference in quality seems negligible to me. They’re both midtable keepers with outdated styles.

I would’ve just stuck with what we have until a genuine upgrade is available. Pope is a Wood standard signing IMO, the difference being we were desperate for a forward and in danger of being relegated when we signed Wood. I’m struggling to see the need for Pope.

If we’re sniffing around relegated wingers I’d go for Sarr over Cornet and McNeil, but I can’t really explain why.

What do you count as highly? To me he is a midtable standard keeper, he has weaknesses as most of that standard do, and we’re looking at other midtable standard keepers to replace him. In the case of Pope an old fashioned “ave it!” midtable standard keeper. I’m thoroughly unimpressed tbh.

If you want a keeper that’s good with his feet, why sign someone that’s spent his career punting it downfield? I find the keepers we’re being linked with really strange.

I think Jesus would score buckets for Arsenal for years to come, he’s a great signing for them and worth being price gouged a bit.

Forest will get relegated so won’t be taking the option to buy him, if he has an impressive season then maybe take another look. I wouldn’t have gone for him this window.

Southgate’s strength has been raising the morale of the squad, he isn’t good at any other aspect of being a manager. I'm unconvinced by Henderson, he seems like a gamble. I don't consider the position a priority and he's on big wages. He has barely played for Man Utd and Sheffield Utd were a long ball team, so I'm not sure we know he's good with his feet.
