Looks like amdy Faye - but 1000000x the player he was. Absolutely brilliant. Where were ya Scott Parker?

Brilliant. Very impressed with ferguson - although he has a football name he didn't look like a footballer until I saw the first 15 mins of the game.

Awesome! Best news since being on my honeymoon. Sitting outside a cafe in the sun In noosa waiting for breakfast. Heading to korea now bit hope it's official once I've landed.

If true - awesome...if both sign...great wedding present! Just getting ready now but still checking out what is happening with our transfers. Love our club. Just love it.

This. We haven't been horrible but there's definitely a gulf in class. exactly. Would love to see benny Benz in nolans position - assuming we sign him

well said. He's left the club now so no use crying over spilt milk in any case. Im happier with jonas on te left and hopefully routledge will realise his potential on the right.

very sensible view. Totally agreed.

Wow that is some serious grasping at straws there.

By the way, can I add it is very cool there are Newcastle supporters who also know about Korean football...there was a time Korean football and footballers would not even be considered seriously. Love it - and i enjoy seeing how patriotic oldtype gets. Good on ya mate

this. Kleague football is more physical than j league but the players and league is still very technical. The fact that kleague teams are dominating the Asian champions league says something. As for park chu young outmuscling most defenders he comes up against - I think that's a bit exaggerated. In my view Park's always been a second striker and his strength is in his finishing, speed and what the Korean commentators say 'sense'. The Mantle of the 'strongest Korean player' should go to Jong dae se. If he and park played together....drool...

very good player. Have seen him play in person when played here against Adelaide united. He is very composed for a young kid. Pretty much created everything for Brisbane roar. Let him develop a couple of years and then bring him I say - just before he reaches his peak haha 18 year old Australian winger who is apparently meant to be the next Harry Kewell. He had a good couple of seasons in the Australian A-League for Brisbane Roar and then obviously moved to Utrecht as stated above. He also missed the cut for the final 23 man squad for the WC. An excellent talent and I feel Verbeek made a big mistake not including him, from what I saw last night. I mentioned to someone on this forum a couple of months ago that Oar will be highly sought after and they said they would contact the club. Apparently, Utrecht beat a whole host of european clubs to his signature. One to watch for the future.

Well done bellers. Respect.

lol that's the spirit!!! I have already started digging into my Japanese mate. Tulio tanaka = schteak of the highest order

I would prefer we went for kwak Tae hwi - huge loss for us. Jeju united isn't the beat team. Having said that, I agree that Most Korean/Asian CBs are all quite lightweight. If we go for a Korean, wingbacks or wingers are probably most suitable in the premier league (ObvioUsly!). chrissy- please get Get Jong dae se!!!
-
I know these spelling of Korean names are phonetic, so is this the same guy known as Jong Tae-Se? I've heard good things about him...he's been linked with moves to Europe in the past. yeah my iPhone corrects spelling without me knowing- sneaky bugger. Yeah very strong for an Asian - in my view as close to a typical English centre forward you can get in Asia. Could have played for south korea - if he did, korea would have had an awesome partnership with park chu Yong I reckon. He even has an aggressive competitive streak (see recent melb victory match) which I think is great as it shows passion. I think he would be smart Enoch as a player to play alongside big andy c.
