I meant to say 'financial position'. Supposition remains. Whether you take it on board on not, it at least makes me feel better about our situation. Cheers Dave.

That's right, he's only made one mistake. Let him off the hook again. When are the Championship fixtures out again? Can't wait to see who them mugs Boro are playing. Are you saying what he was doing at the academy was a bad thing?. He had the right ideas if he modeling after Arsenal which i don't find such a bad thing but just wrong people to pull it off. What was he doing at the Academy like? Buying good young players? f*** me, what a revolutionary. It's almost as if he had the same idea as every other football club in the country. By the way those young players will now not get the chance to develop properly because they will be playing Hartlepool United Reserves instead of Manchester United Reserves. Whose fault is that? As for modelling after Arsenal, Christ on a Segway. Even Arsene Wenger has said the system that the moron put in place is nothing like his. Arsenal finished 4th by the way, they didn't get relegated, just so you know. Thing is, if we had Fat Fred in charge, we would still be relegated and in a Leeds position. We're in a better position finally. Mistakes have been made. Worst thing is appointing Kinnear for the rest of the season. stupid stupid decision. Interim he was fine. Longer than that, stupid decision. Having said that, having Freddy back would be like a dog going back to its vomit. I think Ashley genuinely had a long term plan for the club. Just made some very bad mistakes. Let's hope the next owner: 1. has more sense and knowledge about running a football club 2. has more money and 3. has nothing to do with Fat Fred. Happy birthday your majesty the Queen.

Same but then I think like, "F**k, I can't join in with the Premier League banter anymore" and I feel sad all over again...HTFU David HTFU....
-
Guys, HTFU...or Harden The F*ck Up! (Edit) Nah, in all seriousness it sucks man. I had a bet with 2 of my mates (one Chelski and one Man U supporter - talk about plastic supporters....) and I am going to loathe handing over my money with their smug faces looking at me. The Man U supporter was half sympathetic and told me to keep it as he probably owed me money. The Chelski supporter though...sending me an invoice of how much I owe him....that smugness.... HTFU fellas, HTFU

Getting sms' from Liverpool fans already..."total dominance this..." and "should have been 5 goals and that"...not looking forward to work tomorrow....

if owen couldn't do anything without a good midfield, then how did martins and viduka do 10x more than him in just 30 minutes on the pitch owen is finished, strikers that rely totally on very good service are not that good strikers tbh fair point regarding owen although i don't agree fully. But my point is more pointed towards our crap midfield. There is no one in our midfield other than Jonas and Guthrie who gives me any confidence (I haven't seen enough of Nacho yet tbh....haha). I don't think ANY other premier league team/player will look at Nicky Butt and think, "crap, we're gonna have a hard day today". Ridiculous how crap our midfield is.

My rant is as follows: Was Nolan even on the field? I did not see him do ONE thing positive. Nicky Butt, piss off. seriously. piss off. waste of space. and I hate how commentators rave on abouy him. The worst is when he puts in a crap pass (which is 99% of the time) and they say "that's is so uncharactheristic of such a quality player". piss off. Where was guthrie? Guthrie is such a better passer of the ball than the above clowns. The commentators pissed me off. Totally pro-spurs...and having the cheek to tell Shearer "you don't know what you are doing" totally pissed me off. Condescending, patronising, smug toads. owen. yes he did nothing - but he could do nothing without any quality in midfield. Ryan Taylor. Saw nothing of his so called "dead ball specialist" skills. COME ON LADS

wat about the Kazahstan 10-0-0 formation? Owen marshalling the middle of defence would be SWEET

still not showing it...good night...

not working....co.uk...

Where do you work? Just show them the Sheff Wed game and they'll soon know. Mate, it's in Australia - all they know is about afl here. I've put a sneaky comment about Shearer here: http://www.news.com.au/adelaidenow/comments/0,22638,25278828-12428,00.html The only Magpies they know here are the Collingwood magpies... Anyway, Shearer's back and i'm over the moon....great to see the fotos and to see him gelling with the squad. Looks like the lads are having a great time and good to see Xisco looking happy. I'm just so happy...

It was like this at work for me - I saw this yesterday...but it's sort of sinking in now...AND Wise is leaving....all i could say at work was: SHEARER'S BACK SHEARER'S BACK Thing is, no one at work knows who shearer is.

Ginola on the left and Gillespie on the right. Best wing combination ever.

One in the Australia named Lisa Ho...

I've put $5 on this. Odds are 4.50. Will be a windfall for me if we win. Come on!

Funniest One Liner Thrown At The Players On The Pitch?
eaststar replied to Crumpy Gunt's topic in Football
At the Adelaide United game a couple of seasons ago, sitting behind the away team's goal keeper (i think Liam Reddy from Queensland Roar), everyone was giving him a hard time - then some bloke behind me shouts at him: "I saw your brother naked!" We all pissed ourselves laughing. -
Being so fed up of the crap served out week in week out I made bets recently with a man u and chelski fan that we'd stay up. I was really confident...then I saw our upcoming fixtures...man u, chelski, liverpool etc etc... TBH, if Nicky Butt is considered your best midfielder, there's not much to say really. I've learnt to just cop it and try to latch and hold onto any small weaknesses that arise in other teams e.g. When Scolari was sacked and when Tottenham were below us. Loved the latter especially.

In Australia Fox shows one or two Championship games a week...and there's a weekly wrap-up so I'll be watching that...but hopefully not.

Here's an article on Inman in the local Adelaide newspaper: http://www.news.com.au/adelaidenow/story/0,22606,25153027-12428,00.html

He was less bad because he was less involved. For some reason Man United chose not to go through the middle a lot and to be honest Smith didn't have a lot to do. he put in one really good tackle and played a few simple passes without losing the ball. Good assessment. I just don't have any confidence in the guy. absolute crap and he obviously is lost. He is no longer a forward nor is he a decent midfielder. Ferguson totally stuffed him up. Smith's fault for choosing to go to Man U tbh. Please sell him.
