Good stuff. Go Keegan

A clever guy who couldn't manage people. I agree with the second part but the first part I'm not so sure..."shexshy football" said it all. Awesome player though.

yup. was there and you just described it perfectly...orgasmic. No other word will suffice. Besides that - Lars Ricken's goal in the 1997 Champions League. Was in high school and got up at 4.30 to watch it. I didn't like Juvetus and from memory everyone thought they would win. That first time chip over peruzzi...the spin and trajectory of the ball...the moment...I dunno if it was because I was half asleep...but it was the kind of goal I dreamt about when I haboured hopes of becoming a pro footballer. haha

Yeah edgar is shaky. Doesn't look like he has much potential but hey, I hope he proves me wrong. Geremi is crap. It's so strange to see a decent player lose their quality in a short space of time. I rated him quite highly when he first came. Now he's so slow and holds onto the ball. Barton isn't that great either. Midfield used to be our strength, now it seems the weakest. Not too happy Spurs snatched Modric - another reason to hate them more. anyway, content with a draw. especially from 2 behind. MARTINS' GOAL.........so good

Would love it - but Real would never let him go...at least not next season. He was practically scoring all the goals for them until he got injured.

Yes we can talk about Deco, Moutinho, Navas etc etc ...but I really wish we would take some lessons from Mr Wenger's book and sign some player without an excessive reputation at a decent price who turns out to be ace e.g. toure, viera, ljunberg, clichy. Even Pires, Henry, Van Persie didn't have reputautions that would set the Premier League on fire. Having said that, we are Newcastle United and we'll probably end up buying Wes Brown and Steve Sidwell By the way, how is Vincent Kompany doing? is he still as good as people made out he was?
-
what about a target man/strong centre forward? taht's how 4-3-3 works as i understand. would love to have hunterlaar....
-
What about marceleno he was crap but didn't really think too much. also thought bassedas and andersson would do ok. Had high hopes for des hamilton... anyway...bring on the new signings!
-
that - and the first especially

Lucky ba*tard. I'm in SA and the game started at 12.30 - not good if you have to work the next day. I hope your mining boom continues - I might have to move over there.
-
I still reckon he should have been given more time and I agree with much that he says. Even though his ideas may not have worked, i liked them - much better than Roeder or Souness. Had those ideas been implemented, I think our club would have taken the next step. However, at the end of the day, I will trust Ashley and co. KK being back is great, sentimentally and all, but how it pans out we will see at the end of the season.

It was funny to see a sign with NUFC on it - in gold
-
i told my mate he would do something crap when he walked onto the field...never failed me once Fatty Carr.
-
I know I'm bordering on delusional...and no I don't get into conspircy theories - but my imagination is running wild with Jimenez making a deal a couple months back to the effect: "I get you ramos, u sell to Newcastle berba" and Berbatov is then announced as a surprised signing on the last day to the joy of the Toon Army. Yes...

I'm very happy with this new setup. nuff said
-
either way I want him in
-
f*** You Prick! LOL Just kidding! mackems.gif

Man U (always hated em) Spurs (last few seasons they've really started to pi*s me off) S'Land (when they are in our league) Chelski (I have mates who jumped on the abramovich bandwagon and since then reckon they are superior)
-
I would be happy with Ashton. would work well with owen/martins. it's pretty obvious we're interested in van buyten. My guess for the 3rd signing is barry ferguson. So 3 realisticly coming in: 1. Van Buyten 2. Barry Ferguson 3. Ashton I just wish this lad ashravin came in

I agree with most of this post...what's with all the omg's tho? I just want to know why so many people think Cacapa is crap? Some of his performances haven't been great but he is clearly good footballer and time to adjust to the Premier League should be factored in. He is definitely not Boumsong or Bramble.

I get a similar feeling to NorthernGimp. KK is someone who knows the club, supporters and knows what it's all about. He has the respect and the passion. It's going to be a ride - and to be honest, I don't know whether we'll win anything - but it'll be a hellova ride! I'm looking forward to it. At the same time, I have a feeling KK will be here on a short -term basis. My view (hope) is, he'll get the mood round the club around and help it finds it feet whilst Ashley and Mort try and convince Mourin -oops - I mean a 'world class manager' to take the reins in the near future to take us to the next level.

I'm stating: "all of the above" wow.....come one Man U! 5:0 5:0 5:0 (Capaca to be the new Albert?)
