cause Colo & Enrique were amazing in their first year at the club, remind me where we finished in the league? Enrique was really good despite the bad year, Colo was pretty crap tbh and alot of people critcized him, i remember saying he looks like he has all the right abillties but he just wasn't able to adjust to the pace of the league.

I'm at the university library and reading this thread had me laughing out loud, its almost mid night and people still didn't see the goal..as much as i thought it was brilliant all the hype/wait will make it look like a tap in

That was Abeid, mate. Was it? i'm pretty sure it was Ben Arfa.
-
Heard some of the Blackburn players are still on the pitch trying to find Ben Arfa.
-
He was fairly quick, and it just seemed they were terrified whenever he got the ball, even before that magical goal he went on a couple or runs which he went past 3-4 of their players.
-
To be fair to him today he made all the changes that mattered, hope he finally saw enough to play Ben Arfa on the wing and drop Obertan

I'd love to see this: Krul Raylor/Simpson Colo Willamson Santon Ben Arfa Cabaye Guthrie/Gosling/Abied Jonas Vuckic Shola But i think it'll be Shola and best upfront. -
Anything less than movie s*** will be a disappointment at this point. Just got in from work and just seen score line, is it really that good a goal? Can't wait to see it. Word is, he skinned 7 players and several stewards. Goalkeeper subbed himself off afterwards. That sounds like some epic s***, can't wait. http://verydemotivational.files.wordpress.com/2011/11/demotivational-posters-like-a-boss.gif That's exactly it!! but it was real football. Ipretty sure no matter how good it is we'll all be disappointed when we see it in the highlights because of this hype :

From Sky sports twitter feed: GOAL! NEWCASTLE 1-1 BLACKBURN, Ben Arfa skins 7 Rovers players before slotting home - one for the video collection So its 7 players..i guess

Maybe ITV will have one of their f*** ups tonight and it will for ever remain stuff of legend. Because he ran past some, dribbled past some, honestly couldn't tell , could be two players even, all i saw was him taking the ball and running at a group of yellow shirts, getting past all of them then just when it thought he'd shoot he came up with a brilliant little skill in a tight angle to dribble past the last man and smash it in the net.
-
He's getting paid millions to f***ing play football, if he can't handle the pressure that comes with it he should find himself another job
-
He seemed a bit raw and against a better side he would've struggled. but i like him, would have him over Gosling.
-
He linked up well, Raylor did good to be a fair to him when he came, but Ben Arfa was our main threat..every time he got the ball he made things happen.
-
He was really poor today but did well for the winner.
-
Was running at them all game, barley had any trouble defending. only problem with him is his crosses but other than that i thought he was fantastic.
-
I think the majority of the fans simply do not want to see him on the pitch, that alone should be a sign for Pardew, the person behind me put it best "its like watching a lunatic on the pitch" don't think he's cut out for any level tbh let alone the highest level.
-
It was either that or a really really bad cross, was too low to be a cross imo

Just back from the game, his goal was absolutely taking the p*ss, incredible goal and almost looked like something you'd see at school level when one of the player is just too good for the others He ran at them all day long and looked like our main threat, on the wing he produced more in 30 minutes than Obertan could've produced if he had played till monday, he did lose the ball a couple of times and p*ssed a few people off when he told Ryan Taylor to leave a last minute corner so he can take it and tried to shoot, but honestly i can take that if it comes with a talent such as his. If he Don't start on the wing next week I'm coming after Pardew..

Just got back from the game, an enjoyable victory although we made it very difficult for ourselves against what seemed to be a pub-side in Blackburn kits, Ben Arfa's goal was fucking magnificent, such a great great player we have here. Santon was great and he got forward a lot, could work on his delivery though, Cabaye was playing his heart out and when we were down he was our best player, Jonas ran at them all day long and deserved his goal. Best and Shola were not great but at least they did give their kids something to worry about.. One thing that needs to be said, Obertan should not be playing football for a living, he should be flipping burgers in some obscure restaurant. Pardew's changes were spot on to be fair to him.
