If Allardyce is to get the reported 40m+ budget why the f*** is he looking for more Cheap bastard , we can get 5 or 6m for Emre though and it will be very wise of us to let him go rather then Parker.

Real weren't really a mess tbf, he played a huge part in their squad and they didnt know that untill he left, and instead of replacing him the fuckers went a spent all those millions on "Galacticos" who did fuck all for their club. He's the kind of player who you don't really notice in the game, but is virually the heart of Chelsea, forget overpaid overated players like Lampard and Ballack, Chelsea's strong point is Cech,Terry and this lad, but now he's growing old and they managed to get a brilliant youngster to replace him in Diarra (his attitude is shit though), i think he still have at least one good season left in him.

He's a fucking luckey charm wherever he goes (reminds me Bernard Diomede and the french squad) , Madrid still havn't won anything since he left, and Chelsea are winning a trophey per season with him, great player and i wouldnt mind him coming here, although i think he will move to a bigger club.

If you look at it that way, the deal is considerd cheap for any normal club,getting a 21 yearold wonderkid with loads of talent and who used to be priced twice as much a year before we signed him is kinda cheap, but the fact that under Glenn Roeder we managed our players in the most retarted way possible, and not being able to get 50% from any of our players (aside from James Milner) make Martins blameless for me, i am sure that under Sam Allardyce he will prove that he is worth alot more then what we payed for him.

I think this more than anything needs crushed. We got the stadium of a massive club, the spending abillty of a massive club, the fans of a massive club, the players of a massive club(if you take our defenders off), but our peformence is nowhere near that of a massive club, wich is exactly why Newcastle are described best as "Sleeping giants" .

Are they? Every single player in our team had a thread about them being "not good enough", aside from Tim Krul and Andy Carroll who never really got a fair chance to play.

No one is good enough for us, not even Ronaldinho..i think our brains are a little fucked up from faliure after faliure.. I think in our current squad we have players who are good enough to wear the jersey, Given, Taylor, Parker, Owen, Martins ,N'Zogbia are all usefull to have in a squad once they are played in the proper position and with a good manager.. I always said that being manager of our club is one of the hardest jobs in the world, the squad is full of talents but none of them really produce a peformence that live up to their names, we have Alberto Luque in our reserves team ffs! I think with our faliures in the last 3 years and how every "good" player we signed turned up to be just another flop is just factors that made our fans think that virtually no player is good enough for us. I'll just leave the signings to Big Sam and won't judge anyone before i see them get a fair chance under him.

The money we may or may not have doesn't come into it. If free transfers are good enough for Chelsea they're good enough for us. Ben Haim is better than what we already have. Get him in. Who knows if we'll be able to buy a better defender. They may not be available. Aye, thats the problem, he's free and signing him won't cost us much + it will bring a decent defender in, but if we can get better then why not get them.. We can either play it safe and take Ben Haim, who is far better then what we used to have, or take a gamble..and try to bring in players who are even better then him..but thats being too optimstic because i don't think better players will want to come here in the first place.

Anyone think we can get better then Ben Haim? Don't get me wrong, he's pretty decent but for 45 millions we can get better players i will be happy if Big Sam gets him here but won't be too gutted if we miss out on him..

What has Kieron Dyer ever done for England? He got Kung-Fu kicked by Recber Rustu once..
