Bayern are markedly superior at every position on the pitch that isn't Messi. This is shameful. Barcelona have been complete rubbish since the return from lockdown.
-
What an incredible ball from Messi. Do not understand how no one finished that.
-
These high lines are ridiculous.

Tell me a team sport that doesn't have big clubs dominating it recently? ironically american sports seem better about it at least compared to how things currently are in the major european leagues and champions league I am not sure why this is ironic. American leagues are set up to artificially stop the big clubs from dominating and create false parity. It still does not work in some of their sports. I do not really understand the acrimony against Leipzig when compared to the other two clubs. They do not financially dominate. New clubs being created in regions without high level is a positive, imo. I suppose it is just Red Bull?

Lyon were rubbish during the majority of the Ligue 1 season, tbf. This match does not reflect their season. The two recent post-virus break performances against PSG and Juventus have both been very good, though. It will be incredible when Sarri ends his last two seasons with a 3rd place finish in the Premier League, League Cup title, FA Cup Runner up, Copa Italia Runner Up and a Serie A title and manages to be sacked twice in that span.

The state of officiating in the world's richest league is an embarrassment.
-
Ruining the match for such a simple challenge. Bizarre decision.
-
He would have been sold within two years, anyway. What is the purpose? Chelsea have been complete rubbish since about the twentieth minute of this match.

Leicester are such a waste. I thought they were the better side today, but they miss chances, Vardy never involved, and make silly errors at the back. Should have won today and against Bournemouth, imo. Should have made top four, frankly. Bournemouth and Watford will need to have massive clearouts this summer.

It looks like Osimhen to Napoli is finally set to be completed today. For 60 million euro, potentially 80 million with bonuses. The fee is crazy for only one season in Ligue 1, but the player is brilliant, imo. Think he will do very well. Given the high fee, I wonder if this means Napoli are already anticipating selling Koulibaly for an even higher amount. Edit: Wolfsburg must be sick about how this turned out. The best player at the u-17 World Cup joins their club, struggles for injury and form, is dumped to Belgium for nothing at age 19 and is the most expensive African player in history by he time he is 21. A complete waste for them.

I don't think it is actually relevant if Man U draw or win here in terms of fourth. Either way, any win on Sunday sends Leicester to the CL.
-
They played Man Utd about 3 seasons running in the CL back in the day so it’s probably that. Most likely, yeah. Did they have one or two deep runs in the CL around the time that Porto won it? Feels like a lifetime ago. EDIT: Just watched some incredibly low-quality highlight reels. What a fucking player he was. Porto beat them in the semis when they won. They played us in the quarters before. It was the second round, not the quarters. I specifically remember an atrocious error from Howard and Mourinho wildly celebrating.

Still very much alive, tbf. If Villa and Watford lose, any win, regardless of score, and they are safe.
-
Don't think they've got any defensive alternatives Fair enough, I thought they at least had Fuchs on the bench and could play a back four. Maybe just poor squad planning. Bennett and Morgan do not suit the way Leicester look to play at all.
-
Playing three slow, plodding, 30+ centrebacks vs. against a pacy counter-attacking side like Tottenham seems like really poor tactics. The wingbacks are not in the match at all defensively and the back three cannot cope at all. What a goal by Kane.
-
I like Fulham, still have a affection for Mitrovic, tbh, and Craven Cottage has been an easily attainable ticket and enjoyable experience when I've been to London.
-
I am sure I have been involved with discussions about this on here before, but there is no chance the technology is advanced and consistent enough to be adjudicating at such a small margin, given the various factors that go into offside decisions.
-
I genuinely despise VAR.
-
Nketiah red card vs. Leicester is the only one I can recall, but it should be for every VAR decision other than probably offside.
-
Did it get reviewed? I do not think play after stopped after this until the goal, and it seemed like everyone forgot about it. Palace didn't really even protest. Yes said on the commentary VAR reviewed it. Palace didn't protest because it wasn't a pen. Partisan blindness is an illness, imo. Fwiw, if it was given as a penalty on the pitch, there is no chance whatsoever it would be reversed, Lindelöf clearly goes through Zaha's leg, even if he may simultaneously have the slightest touch of the ball (I personally do not agree he got the ball). Given the decisions we have seen recently, it is bizarre the match did not at least stop for a review.

It is just social media. We live in an era where men regularly harass random women with photos of their dick and people really want to act shocked and hurt that someone used a bad word in a DM towards a public figure? You could have mythical "non-racist" leaders in every country and this will still happen. Namely because the country leader is irrelevant to this trend and secondly because social media does not function in a way similar to any other part of public life.

Don't understand why Rodgers didn't bring on another attacking player if he was going to take Iheanacho off, they were incredibly dominant and were due a second goal, but seem to have handed the initiative since half-time. Schmeichel awful for both goals, of course.
-
fyp He's so bad man, and cost nearly double the amount. Loses the ball every single time. Pepe is a weird wide player because he cannot dribble at all. The guy has a sweet left foot, and is very good at cutting inside and shooting and taking set pieces, but that is really it. His pace is average and he doesn't beat his man. I think he can be a productive player in England, but will never be a prototypical player on the right for a team like Arsenal. Good win for Spurs, but Kane still looks really poor, imo. If this is the player they have for the future, Spurs will continue to struggle with their attack.
-
He favours a physically dominant centreback and that is the closest they seem to have at the moment. I do not rate him either, but Spurs could replace their entire defense, tbh, all poor. The Belgians have declined and the other players are erratic or just average. They have had very poor recruitment generally for a while now.
