Everyone thinks they know, but they don't. The game was actually up in the 90's. Most of the age cheats are filtered out of the system early on these days. It's generally obvious who they are, just as it used to be. Honestly looking at this generation of young players, who are poached from academies during puberty, it does not seem prevalent at all.

Not going happen though, i imagine wages would be a major issue, i wouldnt mind though if(when) Adebayor goes there is no replacement. Statistically Bendtner was only marginally(very small margin at that) behind Adebayor last season, also would love see a RvP - Arshavin partnership up top every match You mean until Rvp succumbs to injury like he does every season. Speaking of Arsenal injuries, where is Rosicky? Seems like he's vanished. Is a top quality player, too. In other news, Michel Bastos will sign for Lyon. Good signing for them. Let the arms race begin. edit:robbo...Gervinho is a really good player and I'm surprised no bigger clubs looked at him. Still, another very good player for Lille. Lyon are adding some good players here, but losing alot also. I don't think Michel Bastos replaces Juninho. I think it will be between us and them for the title, with PSG/Bordeaux third/fourth. US Boulogne, my French team, have got Bira Dembele on loan from Rennes probably to cover Steven Mouyokolo going to Hull. I always thought Thil would have moved on, but with them being in Ligue 1 he got the chance to stay. Adil Rami possibly to OM, although 15m might seem a tad steep. Cyril Rool and Elinton Andrade tied up at least. As for Gervinho I can't say I've saw him, but Lille do seem to pick up/develop a few good players hence the European adventures a season or so back. However I wish them no luck when I met some lads from Halluin near Lille who ripped Newcastle for getting relegated! Supposedly Adil Rami doesn't want to come so l'OM are no longer pursuing. I'm happy with this summer if another striker can be bought. Maybe Menez. (I support l'OM btw) Honestly, I can hardly stand Lille, but credit to them, they always seem to find good players. How do you think you all will fair in Ligue 1. I know you signed Nigerian Bayo Adefemi. I'll be interested to see how he does.

Don't see what's wrong with his comments. Everyone knows Nigerian players just make their ages up. Bulls***. Stereotyping pieces of rubbish. Spitting nonsense out of their mouths at every turn.

Think Chelsea are going to win the league next year. Man U right now are definitely weaker, and it would take more than one signing to fix it.

Hughes will be terminated before he is given the chance to quit.

Just go search the world's most famous video site for it. They didn't take it down, just the forum did. It is the first result. -
Said that to my mate, how lazy! Man Utd will have him speaking English in no time. Obertan speaks good English. That is ridiculously hypocritical, coming from an English person.

I'm just happy I got to watch that before it was deleted. Regardless of the situation, it it nice to see the team playing again. -
Alvaro Recoba

Who needs Drogba? We already have the younger, more Brazilian version Honestly, though I wouldn't be surprised if Drogba comes back next summer. Especially if we win l'OM win Le Championnat next season.

Harper: 'The football club is dying a slow, painful death'

Self-made man. Came from nothing. Could be interesting with the comments that are made in the next weeks. Players need not be scared of pissing people off, as there is no one to piss off. -
I want Joey Barton at this club, simply for the reason, that he would be probaly the best midfielder in the Championship. He's damaged goods, but this works well imo. He's let us down, but all is forgiven in my book if he plays to potential next season. I couldn't really care if he went off raping baby puppies in spare time, as long as he gets it done on the shining green grass.
-
As long as M'bia plays well, I don't really care. l'OM are not f****** Rennes. We do not sell players at command. Can't help but think he's turned a few clubs off with his nonsenical behavior. Still, he's a damn good footballer, and it would have been a shame for him to be at Stoke City. I look forward to him donning the colors.
-
What do you mean by potential? It's not going to get any better. It's not like the designs improves as the season goes along.

Here's one: I have played professional football in Belgium, Holland and Mexico and several other nations. I captained my nation to a major international final, where we lost to Nigeria. I have scored a hattrick against Italy. The rest of my national teammates were killed in a bad plane crash. I have over 100 caps for my country, including a few in my forties. I have played under Sir Bobby Robson.
-
Whcih two are they? Gareth and Barry? I was referring to NRC, who hasn't been sold, but is apparently on his way out.
-
To be honest, he plays now in the Dutch league for 2 years, but didn't really impress me at all, sorry Only played 17 games for Sparta last year. Suprised that Everton wants him. He's only 20 though. I don't watch the Dutch league though. He's played for Nigeria at every level (WYC, Olympics, Friendlies, WCQ) and been good/not looked out of place.
-
Nuttin wong wit dropping a few mizillions on a nice young player like him. He looked pretty good against us last year.
-
Aye he's claimed we've made a bid, apparently. Do you know more about him babtunde? Know he's young and tall. That's about it. I honestly think Villa will struggle if they don't get at least 1 quality central midfielder in. Think Adeleye will be a great player. (I might be Slighty biased, since he's from my city and my hometwon club). Physically, he has all the tools to succeed as a CD in England. He's definitely a fighter and is surprisingly good on the ball for a player of his mould. Being a young defender he can be a bit foolish and will make mistake, but I think he'd be well served playing for someone like Moyes.
-
Nigerian cenral defender Dele Adeleye is supposedly going to Everton. Have Aston Villa been linked to any central midfielders? They've sold two now. Unless they're expecting Sidwell and Gardner to step up.
-
Not too fussed about him. At 25, he's still young, but not exactly in the early stages of development. At this point in his career he's not scored a goal at any level higher than League One. He won't be cheap either.
-
It's not the vuvuzela is anything new though. The rest of the world just calls them stadium horns. The South Africans have just taken them four or five levels above what anyone else has done.
