Chris Brunt, so we're fucked

R.I.P. Sir Bobby, You gave me the fondest memories of our great club!

Came on against Villa in August 2007

My Dads family are all from near Durham, half red and half black. No idea why but was asked aged 5 which team I supported and said Newcastle. A few days later my 6th birthday present arrived and I opened up the 1997 home shirt. I wore it for the rest of that day and never looked back.

No chance, Beckham is twice the player at 34 than Owen was during his time here. He also puts in 100% efforrt EVERY time he steps onto the field, something we didn't see from Owen most of the time.

Who can honestly say they wouldn't react like Drogba? That refereeing performance was woeful and he deserved to know exactly what the players thought of it. I think its a better method than bitching about it to Sky every time.

Mauro Camaronesi?

I hope he fails miserably in all future attempts at life

Schwarzer was the best keeper in the league last season so there is no way Harper would be first there.

Didn't Spurr score from 30 yards to win the Sheffield derby in the last minute? Touch of the Steven Taylor random key goals?

Keegan bottled it because of Ashley's naive mistakes. However the fact remains that Keegan put his own personal beliefs before the well being of the club. His choice = our loss.

1. Whatever Shepherd may have done during his time in charge should be irrelevant now. It doesn't matter anymore, the club now is not the same one he sold 2 years ago. If he were to take charge again he should be given a clean slate from which to rebuild us up again. A clean slate is needed from both the club and the fans because something just hasn't felt right these past few years, almost as if we were poisoned from the core. 2. Shepherd is lifelong fan of this club, and as such would not accept failure. He would do everything he could to try and make the club successful, which is all he ever wanted during his first spell. 3. The dream scenario is Shepherd being employed by, and working with, somebody else's money. This way his desires and ambition is controlled by somebody with a sharper knowledge of financial stability. 4. He knows what the fans want, and that is Alan Shearer. Shearer would not tolerate anyone making transfer decisions for him, or interferring in footballing matters. Shepherd would certainly keep his nose out, otherwise Alan would protest loudly.

You've created the disturbing image of Nikos Dabizas performing a strip tease.

There is an argument to blame literally everybody, so in answer to the OP, no-one is exempt of any blame.

Jonjo Shelvey, just utter class, watched a Charlton game last season, the lad is something special! He would be the kind of creative midfielder we have lacked over the past couple of seasons. He plays best in the hole in a Beardsley sort of role (doesn't defend) but is equally dangerous when dribbling, passing or shooting. A problem would be the fee obviously, considering his age.
-
As an attacking midfielder it doesn't matter how much you run around, if you cannot cross, cannot set up goals and cannot score you might as well not be there. Also, just doing shuttle runs up and down the left flank does not count as 'Sweat' unless you are prepared to get stuck in and not give up and lay on the ground every time a fullback tackles you.

Worst. Backtrack. Ever. Fuck me so the piss taking is making you blame someone else well atleast you can get laughed at by your school mates next week

There's a few points that I would like to make: 1. Never leave your laptop in the hands of a Spurs fan when you are logged on to the forum. 2. I still think we are a big club. 3. Jonjo Shelvey would be an amazing signing for us. That is all.
-
Just speaking to other fans and them still thinking we are a massive club who can still attract class players. We need to wake up and realise that we are going to have to sign players like Jonjo Shelvey from Charlton.
-
This club really is starting to annoy me and im afraid some of our fans aren't immune from that. I don't understand how people can still think were a massive club when we have just been relegated. FACE IT PEOPLE, WE AREN'T A MASSIVE CLUB ANYMORE. :colo:

Its not like he is demanding a move whilst in the middle of a nice fat contract. His contract has ran out and it is his right to move on. Fuck it, for all we know he might not have been offered a new deal. Don't get all the Loven hate

West Brom, clearly a quality championship team
