I like the way we are going about things, I just expected more signings today, not saying we needed to break any records, I just think we could have easily recruited cover for RB, LB and RW in this window. The starting X11 is much improved but the squad is smaller than last season!

Last season we had a small squad and now we have an even smaller one, the signings look good but I was expecting more full back cover and whats happened to the young talent we should be bringing in?

I wasn't expecting Robinho or anything but we needed more than 2 players in today, squad is far too small, although having said that the first team is capable of finishing top 8. Fact is we need a right back, left back, midfielder and winger to have a complete squad

Thats why I'm for it, deadline day is the best, personally I enjoyed waiting for Faye and Beye last year. It creates drama and if a club can't get the business done in 2 months then when can it!

I can't remember what it was like without the transfer window tbh but I like the idea of a transfer window but not the registration thing, its possible that you could have injuries, suspensions, international call ups etc and be completely fucked

What does geremi offer in CM apart from being neat and tidy to the extent where he's scared to take a risk. for all Butts faults at least he can still put a few tackles in

Coloccini and Taylor will be a good partnership, Faye had the brawn but not the brain and he won't be as big a loss as some are making out. Judging by the pre season performances and comments from Keegan regarding transfers I am optimistic for the coming season
