No it wasn't. Yes it was, he came in at pace. I'm sorry but I'm under the impression Eduardo won't be playing for 9 month at the least and that his bone was sticking out of his leg? You're one of the clueless people in the world then, looking at consequences rather than the actual tackle

mackems.gif God thats hilarious. What are you on about mate? Thats such a terribly thought out comment. Milner and Tayls were there trying to pull him out. Our lads know better to get involved in a scuffle... Personally i'd rather we went down fighting...

Blackburn play with width and look to get crosses in so it has to be Harper, Taylor and Faye for me. Beye is naturally the RB choice but exposing Zog to Bentley would be pure suicide, which leaves us fucked basically. So i would switch Beye to the left and play Carr up against the slower, more out of form Pedersen. Zog and Milner on the wings. As much as I hate to say it we need to play Butt to at least try and keep Dunn quiet. Barton can be good as an attacking player, just he has been fucking awful so far but he is the only real option for me. Smith wont win fuck all in the air against Samba or Khisanishvilli so its Martins and Owen or Carrol and Owen depending on injury. Saying all that i think keegan will play: Harper Beye Taylor Faye Carr Milner Barton Butt Duff Owen Smith

Time for common sense from referees instead of trying to follow the rulebook to a maximum. How Aliadiere got a red card is mystifying and the fact that the FA don't change decisions unless the referee admits to being "unsighted" or whatever is even more ridiculous. What he did was a booking at the most. The FA really do suck balls when it comes to reviewing things (e.g. nearly failing to punish thatcher a couple of season's ago)

been much worse tackles than taylors, it's just the outcome that has made people overreact to it.

Who, Edgar and Faye? And to be fair, I think it's possible to say that both of Ronaldo's goals had as much to with horrific loss of possession/ lack of clearance as Taylor's asshattery. I don't want to be an apologist (as that Saha goal was absolutely appalling and very much his fault), but he was left on an island against the best player in the prem in both of those instances. Rio and Vidic themselves would have had their hands full on each of those, particularly the first one... Cacapa and Faye. They were both fucking dreadful, he did nothing to stop their attack either time. Especially the second one, he should be embarassed by what he did there. You can blame Faye for not clearing it (that was shit as well) but the fact is that his cock up was the major one, he was the last line of defence and he offered no resistance. Ronaldo literally did nothing and he was past him. Cacapa is fucking wank

I'm always 100% biased in favour of my teams

Will go with a top 8 thing as it is very rare that more than 8 players leave in one window, these are in order as well. To Go Cacapa Barton Smith Carr Butt Rozehnal Geremi Shola To Stay N'Zogbia Beye Faye Owen Martins Milner Taylor Enrique was really struggling at the end which shows what a fucking state our squad is currently in.
-
Swap Taylor with Cacapa and at the moment I'd probably go for that. Actually thinking about it I don't want to commit right now. Cacapa has been poor. Unless you are basing your opinion solely on the fact that anything Keegan says, you believe? I'm basing my opinion on what I've witnessed this season, and you may believe Cacapa has been poor, I believe Taylor has been worse. Interesting, that. I think Cacapa has been very disappointing, although i have not been surprised that he lost the captaincy at his last club. I think Taylor has not been great this season (i think he can becoem a really good player, but he's clearly nowhere near yet), but i genuinely feel Cacapa has been poor. Cacapa has been poor, hes not a premiership defender. To be a success in EPl you need 2 out of Pace, Strength and Aerial prowess. Cacapa has none of these things.
-
When he returns he starts with Owen, can weave his mgic and both players are very under rated in the air.
-
Taylor has been better than Cacapa, every time they've played together, including this weekend. I have no idea why so many people seem to be fooled by Cacapa. And please god don't use the myth of the Lyon captaincy making him good. More likely to be because Taylor is fucking wank. Cacapa is fucking awful, no pace, no strength, no aerial ability. These are perhaps the 3 most important charcteristics in premiership defenders. He cant expect to get by on anticipation and interceptions. I prefer Ramage over cacapa, no joke.

Essien at Cb?!? Muntari at left back?!?
-
Harper Beye Faye Taylor Enrique Milner Barton Emre N'Zogbia Martins Owen Givens been desperately poor recently and Harper has shown how good he can be. Full backs are the natural choices Centre back combination is enforced as Cacapa is slow, weak, and awful under the high ball. He is good at reading the game and makes some great saving tackles/interceptions but I would rather we had 2 dominating CB's The club possesses 3 good wingers and they should be rotated based on form and fitness. They all have different skills but I wouldn't say any stand out from the other 2. Emre will sit in deep and look to create things and Barton must be the man who mops up if things go wrong. He should pass it simple and if needed can bomb on in front of Emre. Owen is undroppable for us at the moment as he is scoring again and should continue to do so. Martins must play as he will be allowed the freedom he wants under Keegan and this will bring out the best in him. Some will say this lacks height but both Owen and Martins can win balls against much taller defenders.
-
What attributes would you say he has that makes him a class act? Also how do you rate him compared to other young wingers like Bentley, Lennon, Young, N'Zogbia, Downing or Bale when he's played there? Ran out of decent examples so you put a full back in there? Milner is no class act but he is a good winger and if he works at his crossing then he can be a very good player. I put Bale in there because he's played the majority (if not all) of his games for Spurs on the wing and looked better than Milner in the process. He scored 2 goals and then got injured for the rest of the season. You can't say he is better than Milner based on about 6 appearances. Milner at his best was far better.

Most optimistic comment of the day goes to.............

What the fuck does Alan from Leeds know? obviously about as much as alan smith from Leeds knows about playing football!
-
Pretty fair price for Routledge, you can just tell Villa will ressurect his career though
-
i think he is good and can easily be our starting rw, i just think we need a quicker alternitive to mix up the way we attack
-
With only 58 starts to his name a £3m price-tag is a tad steep, imo. bollocks! a young english player who is wanted by alot of clubs. 3million would be a steal in todays market
-
barnes is more a of a winger like boateng passer etc etc i am keen for a signing just need a body in the midfield to help out provide options n the like, im of the opinion if their young theyll at lest improve Barnes is by no means a winger, he is an attacking central midfielder. He can play on the right wing but he is not a winger. looks better on the wing IMO
-
CB - we only posses 2 who are of quality (Taylor and Faye) My choice: Van Buyten RM - Am a big fan of Milners but we need someone who is quick for a bit of variety My choice: Barnes CM - As others have said we need a DM who is strong defensivly but also good on the ball (rules out bringing Faye in there) My Choice: Abelda CM - Someone in central midfield who can dribble, pass, shoot and run! My Choice: Fernandez (Villareal) FW - A tall, clever, gifted player who will help Martins/Owen score and also chip in themselves My Choice: Elmander or Huntelaar
