He’s put his hands out when Cornet has stopped. I wouldn’t have given it. Can see why it was though.
-
Cornet stops when he realises he’s not getting anywhere near the ball and the defender has nowhere to go.
-
Gosforth but was a Sunderland fan. I’m pretty sure he must have moved to somewhere in Washington as a mate knew him.
-
Liverpool can’t defend wide positions. No idea where Trent was going when Blind had the ball.
-
Plenty of fans trying to shhhhhs the booing but they really should be better than that. Self entitled imbeciles.
-
They declared a moment of silence as they knew they couldn’t ask for a full minute. Who do they think they are.
-
Scousers being Scousers. Horrible fans. Couldn’t even observe a “period” silence. They can fuck right off.

Clock Stand seats for me at the O’Brien game-Roker End. Only “bother” was when the Police escorted the Newcastle fans passed us in the queue we were in to get in. Thought I was going to end up in a fight with our our fans at one point.
-
Train strike, which is no longer taking place.
-
Owen was about 18 yards out, mistake by the defenders, Howard out of position and he put it past the post.
-
Owen missed a sitter in the last 10 mins in a 0-0 draw at home to Everton at The Leazes. Awful game, one of our last home games and we went down. Only had the keeper to beat and put it wide.

Peter Walton needs a job on Talk Sport. Dermot Gallagher thought it was a penalty (no advantage eh) and that VAR missed the push as they’d been only looking at the contact with the keeper and Dermot kindly froze the frame where they collided. He was still trying to make an excuse for Mason.
-
Yeah, saw that, no playing advantage then or sending off for deliberately stopping a goal scoring opportunity.?Mind you, he also thought Guita was getting to the ball ahead of Willock……
-
Should make it like rugby so everyone can hear what the VAR is saying to the ref and vice versa and the ref should be made to ask if that are all the angles. Christ knows what Mason said to the ref, something along the lines that Willock took the opportunity to barge into the keeper or some shite and then showed angles to try and support this.
-
I don’t understand how anyone think the West Ham decision was worse than ours btw. Bowen does drag his foot over Mendy & that gives Mendy the opportunity to play act. Willock is about to head the ball, gets shoved in the back & clatters into Guita. Mitchell was endangering 2 players & it could have been really nasty.
-
I thought Erikson was fouled today tbh. It might be a contact sport but you can’t come in from the wrong side, hit the player at the side of the knee, make no contact with the ball and not expect to be called for a foul.
-
Viduka’s disallowed goal against Fulham. We’d have stayed up.
-
Is it right that Lee Mason chose what views to show on pitch side screen to support his decision that it was a foul? If that’s so he needs sacked. If you drag a complete anyone in from the street and ask them to describe what they see, having shown all angles, they would all say that one player was pushed into the other. It’s really not difficult and that’s without showing that Guita wasn’t getting to the ball or saying 2 players collided, neither got the ball and in F1 speak it was a racing incident. That’s by and by I suppose, ‘cos that’s not why Willock didn’t get his head to the ball.
-
Great save in the second half when he got his thigh to deflect a shot wide. Pretty sure Dubs doesn’t save it.
-
That’s pretty shit mate. Assume it’s affecting Palace as well.
-
Great control for that penalty.

It seemed quite clear that the ref was going to let play go on until we had cleared the ball Into back into the Liverpool or had possession from a set play. It would not have happened the other way around.
