  1. Calm doon man! We have Owen, Sidwell, plus new signings at the back (probably) There will be a big clearance sale in the summer with Luque, Emre, Bramble disappearing and hopefully Duff will clock off as well
  2. I doubt he said those words but if he did he's doing a sou**ss who now WANTS to get fired and hence get more money. The only positive today was that Carroll played
  3. A few of us are travelling to Newcastle for the mancity game and we dont care about cathedrals or trendy shops - we want to know where the best pubs are for pre/post match madness! Anyone got any good tips? Cheers, see you soon
  4. Yeah, but only the hammers seem to like me.........so far
  5. Where do I sign? ohh.....there is a link above. "The rich get richer and the poor get slaughtered"
  6. Coz u get the sun in your eyes. Good thing the sun never shines in newcastle then.
  7. Now it's said there is no money to spend and the French/Belgians (whatever) insist on Newcastle buying the players in the summer or NO DEAL!!!! reference: newcastleutd-mad.co.uk CRUSH VILLA
  8. Roeder ye lazy git! The cockney says he won't "panic buy". What? He's had half the season to think about possible targets. Better win tommorrow man....
  9. There is no doubt the noise is fab when the team is winning, all I wanted to say was that it is important to create atmosphere and lift the team when the team is down. It was just a feeling I had, - that the atmosphere has gone down somewhat in recent years. I rememeber games when toon-toon, black-n-white-army was sung for 30 minutes straight. 10. Watching the ManU game yesterday from a pub in Sweden I was surprised that the crowd were so quiet when we were 1-2 down. I have noticed this phenomena on several other matches that the home crowd is very quiet when we are down. Should this not be an incentive to get behind the team and lift them? - Sing your hearts out for the lads especially when we are goals down, as you do at the away games. Great game yesterday by the way! Edgars reaction after he scored brought a tear to my eye. What joy!
  11. We need to win, and to win you sometimes have to pay a price in order to get a prize.
  12. It does not matter who plays, as long as Dyer and Martins is on the pitch. They will do the businrss for us a salvage a point in the last minute. Being carefully optimistic :winking:
  13. I think Roeder is doing well considering our cup form, and with all the injuries we have it's not his "fault". Can we beat Chelski in the cup we have a real chance of winning that too in addition to UEFA Cup.
  14. Cheers Gemmill. Is haway a word or does it come from haddaway which means ???? Ignorance is blitz blueeek.gif
  15. In the late 80's there was a Newcastle United hat that said Ha'way the lads on the side. Is the proper wording Haway, Ha'way or Howay the lads. What does this word stem from and what does it mean? Ignorance is bli
