I've heard he was targeting this game for his comeback. Doesn't necessarily mean he'll make it, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him in the squad.

Thought it was a game too far for him last night. He looked broken. Hopefully he can pick himself back up and have a strong end to the season now there'll be some genuine recovery time between fixtures.

Speaking of PL balls, I think this season's might be the shittest design we've ever had. It's so nondescript it reminds me of the PES balls.

I can't believe it's already been a year. We just turned up, man. I remember getting to my seat and it immediately felt different to the Man Utd final. The fans were on song and the Wor Flags display was absolutely epic. There was an early tackle that really set the tone (from Trippier I think) and calmed my nerves. Burn's header was a moment of utter disbelief and came at the perfect time. What a header, man. It's a real shame that the rat did what he did, because what an experience that second goal was. Bodies everywhere - I thought the old bloke next to me had perished! The game management from 2-0 onwards was right out of the top drawer and there was some exceptional shithousery thrown in to achieve this. Sandro's laces and Joe's clothesline were particular highlights. Chiesa's consolation goal made the full-time whistle all the sweeter. Easier to say with the benefit of hindsight, like. At full time it was incredibly emotional and all I could manage were repeated cries of "YES, MAN!" without breaking down and bubbling. Our end singing Seventeen Going Under in unison will live with me forever, and I still well up when I think about it. I still feel incredibly grateful to have been there and experienced it in person, stood next to my brother, and knowing my dad was stood at the other end of our half. It's the main reason why I think I'll back Eddie until he decides he's had enough. This was his doing, and he's immortalised himself and his players in our Club's story. HTL!
