tbh, Jose has been good, consistent and professional throughout his time here. If anybody deserves a pay rise, it's him and it'd make sense to make him our highest earner. I agree. Didn't think he was on such high wages now though?

I know you laugh but still. Players like Bassong and him are the type of players I've been wanting us to go for. Got to look at the silver linings. Big difference between him and Bassong tbh. Bassong was a no-one in French Championship or something like that when we got him, and costed us about 500k i think. Erding was bought one year ago for £7,8mill, and has had a great season

The perfect replacement for Shearer imo, after Klose of course. Him and Owen will be mint. Like I said, this comes from a very reliable friend. To be fair, most of these players are either born in Germany or have lived most of their life there. Only Cacau is a bit of a pisstake. Exactly. Otherwise, they could equally say England are taking the piss by having the likes of Ferdinand, Defoe, Huddlestone, Onuoha, Bent, Walcott, Heskey, Richards etc represent them. They were actually born in England. The likes of Podolski, Klose, Cacau weren't born in Germany. Doesn't bother me really like, it goes without saying that the Germans will do whatever it takes to win/destroy humanity. This is really my point,added to the fact they have no German heritage either makes it a mockery tbh,just like Jack did with the Ireland team in the 80's and 90's. Both Gomez, Klose, Trochowski and Podolski is raised in Germany tbh. Gomez got a german mother, Klose has lived there almost all his life and his father is half-german I think, and Trochowski and Podolski came to Germany when they were small kids. I'd say Germany would be the natural choise for them tbh. At least more natural than playing for a country you've almost never lived in. So the only one that is not really supposed to be there is Cacau imo

Coming out this year. Born in Mexico, raised in the US...playing for f***ing Argentina in the World Cup. I can't wait to pay money to watch a fictional character beat the s*** out of the U.S in the world cup. It's not like that's actually going to happen, so it will be a decent bit of escapism. There'd be outrage if a Mexican tried to play for the Argies days, they are raised to hate them. He's not supposed to play for Argentina though, is he?
