Injuries aside I don’t see Howe changing the team, Willock, Isak and Gordon are great players to bring on after the hour mark for that extra energy. Obviously I’m looking from the outside in but I still think Howe sees Wilson as his starting senior striker.

I just can’t see us spending most our budget on Rice when Howe will likely want to keep Bruno in that starting number 6 position. Yes we do need a player to cover but I feel it’ll be someone else from Europe we haven’t even mentioned for a quarter of the price. I think the money will be spent on high quality higher up the pitch but we’ll wait and see! Exciting times.

Have to say that was an outstanding second half, totally blew them away. It’s also been a long time since we could bring on such quality from the bench.

Would love Johnson, bring Welsh I’m a little biased. He has high energy levels and is very quick, he’s also a sound lad. All traits Eddie Howe likes in a player.

Going to need 5-6 new players if we get into Europe

Some players seemingly step it up playing for their country, seen it for years with the Welsh squad, McTominay is just one of those, we need better next season.

Feels like one of those ‘let’s get this out of the way’ games. Fortunately there are very few of them these days.

There was always going to be a run of poor results, we are now experiencing that. We will bounce back at some point though I have no doubt about that.

I don’t think Joelinton is particularly great in that holding midfield role, neither is Longstaff really. We do not have any other option though I guess.
