Let down by someone of his stars/seniors tonight but he should've made changes earlier as well.

Only Gordon and Hall can come out with any credit tonight. Knew from the moment Isak didn't score that we'd not win this. Still too much deadwood and not enough quality as we all know. -

Really wish we'd stop pinging long balls forward so much. That's what the likes of Evans want ffs. Got to go for this. Joelinton and Barnes on. -
Caught 50 mins or so. Really like the look of Harrison.

There was actually a moment on the weekend where Hall was on the ball approaching the halfway line, Bruno came deep to get it off him but Hall seemed happy to keep hold of it & was telling Bruno to move forward. It led to a pass mix-up, iirc, but it felt telling that Bruno wasn't used to it from our left

I don't think the plan will be for Tosin to be a de facto #1 RCB. Obviously, he'll be in contention for it if he plays well, but I think the more likely plan is this will be Schar's last season and we'll then go big on a young CB like Scalvini.

The idea of having some recovery pace, man

The pre-match and early atmosphere was class in the Gallowgate.

He was very leggy and made some weird choices on the ball. I took him going off as a sign we needed to protect him with 3 in a week meaning Wilson is likely out for the season now. Hopefully, he was just ill and Wilson will make Wednesday.

Chelsea have a very difficult fixture in Brighton away, like. Also, Brighton fans at work hate Chelsea for being pilfering cunts. I think they'll be well up for it.
-
All being well, we have a reasonable bench for Weds still. We have a lot of decent firepower and Man U are so light defensively. If only it were that simple
-
Think he was just gutted at the result... Also, he wasn't moving well last 20 mins imo. He might have a knock.

Cracking first half. -
AG, Schar, and Bruno have been mainstays that have dragged us through some absolute shite this season. Any of them could've won but I think Gordon edges it as he's had some massive moments against the best. Bruno's cardless record is genuinely our most impressive individual achievement this year though doubt there's ever been a swing of picking up a card every other game to not getting one at all for half a season.
-
Also, on the nods to Hall and Tino being up so high often against Burnley. I feel like one of the bigger plans for this season was for Bruno and Tonali to often sit as a 2 in possession and do the whole box structure thing which could allow FBs more license to get forward.

Easier to play CBs at full back when you have top class versatile midfielders and forwards. Feels like wingers are so much less direct these days too which means more lean towards unit defending?
-
Fucking loved that he matched up 4-4-2, like. Felt to me he knew we could murder them by going man-for-man. It's just fun to see it wheeled out as well.
-
Good interview with him on NUFCTV talking about Howe pulling him to one side and clearing his mind a bit. Clearly been taking the recent criticism to heart. He's done my head in loads this season. The criticism has been justifiable for some of his poor decision-making but he's clearly a great lad.
-
So pleased for him. I fancy him to get 12/12.
-
Few Fulham fans at work think he's a solid squad buy. Good athlete and can be very decent in possession, but he does have some concentration issues.
-
Too good to be true.
-
Staying felt really important to me. How feasible is it that we'll be able to get to 65k this route?
