up to him to prove him wrong now. Well, it's up to someone to give him a proper chance, actually. Not fair on the lad that when he performed well in cameos that he was then dropped because he didn't rip up trees when having to defend against Chelsea for 60 minutes in his next game etc. He needs a run of matches to settle, as well as a manager to show confidence in him and his technical ability rather than constantly blithering on about needing English physicality.

Newcastle United vs Everton - 28/12/14 @ 4:15PM (live on Sky Sports)

Can't even be bothered to get annoyed anymore. -
I saw one bloke on True Faith's FB page say 'shape' and 'balance' are irrelevant buzz words that people who don't know anything about football say to look intelligent. That's the kind of dipshit we're dealing with here, Pards is here to stay.
-
And taking Tiote off instead of Colback. I don't even like the bloke but a Colback-Sissoko central midfield is a disaster, as well as the total lack of width that followed the sub. Just a fucking shit mess.
-
PML I dunno like, he's just banging on about players having no bottle or courage...then uses Taylor as an example of player with courage and then gives Pardew partial credit because he 'went for it'...then says that Cabella was a waste of money...then starts banging on about the players being not good enough. Just spouts shite.

Or protect the defence. Their positioning is awful, like, both just chase the ball. Abeid is a huge miss as he actually picks up the central space.
-
He's not really been at the races for a while now, bar the odd flash. He does need to mix it up when taking on defenders, at least keep the full back guessing.

What a muppet this bloke is. Please, fuck off.

Ahahahaha what a load of utter shit that is. Fucking coward. -
I thought he had some potential but he just looks rubbish. Seemed to have some athleticism about him in that City game but that's disappeared now.

So dreamy on the ball, at times. His balance is great, so hard to stop players that can weave so quickly when dribbling. He could be seriously good, in a couple of years.

He's definitely not putting in his best, like. Compare him now to what he was doing a year ago, he was at least working hard then and seemed to want to get in the box occasionally. He just seems lifeless, now, like he'd rather be anywhere else than on a football pitch. -
Henry is definitely my favourite non-NUFC player. Just so fantastic to watch with the ball at his feet. He got 23 assists in 02/03, on top of his 24 goals.
-
He could play a variety of striking roles, to be honest, he's got a lot in his locker. I have no issue with him playing as the main striker with license to roam, though, as long as the player who's behind him offers goalscoring, physicality and link up play. We'll see if de Jong fits that mould soon enough. For now, I'd start Cisse as lead with Perez floating around him.
-
Would be a completely different player if there was actual movement around. It's the same as it was with HBA - our players (Perez apart) just watch him and expect to do it all himself. I know this gets said with a lot of players but it's especially true for a lad of Cabella's ilk. It's like Nasri at City, plays plenty out wide but you never see him really take people on in those areas, nor is he left isolated. He always has lots of options to combine with and build attacks. Players like that use their touch and agility to their advantage in tight, final third situations.

An avid fan of Sammy criticising a player for running into trouble too much

Pardew was his bitch for a while, from what I heard. Like he'd just rock up to training and say he just wanted to go to the gym and Pardew let him every time
-
He's brilliant. I hope he never starts wide again, though, far too good in the middle for that.
