That's where my head is too. Expected Balo to score all week to the extent where I'm thinking of captaining the crazy horse in this weeks fantasy league. If this was tie was against a 'poor' team then I'd totally expect us to fuck up after recent results. I think it suits us that it's against a 'good' side, we'll be right up for it. We'll put in a decent showing but draw; something like 2-2 as neither team can defend. -

Bummer. I'd like to see Gouff start up top with Perez, if that's the case. -

I'd start Perez with Cisse, like. Riviere could be a useful second striker but he's more suited to starting away games, IMO. Cabella on the right and Aarons (if fit) on the left. I'd love to see Abeid alongside Sissoko too. -
I think he's clearly got more about him than just being a finisher, his cameos have shown he's got some great skill. When he's physically up to speed then he'll be bringing that into matches he starts.

     'Yeah, Remy, wander around the pitch a bit and be total shit for 10 months. Do the occasional bit of running after your man' Fucking hell, man, he's an utter dullard.

It was more than his position, I thought, it was like he had a really specific role (shock horror). He reminded me of Dyer under Bobby: pressing opposition, sticking tight, making interceptions and breaking forward. He was excellent and looks perfectly suited to that type of responsibility. He must have made more tackles yesterday than I've seen him do all season.
-
I'd still play Aarons ahead of him too. Sammy could be a fantastic supersub though; speed, skill and a bit of power.
-
I'd play him off Cisse, from now on. Certainly for home games. I like that he works the channels, I think that'd dovetail nicely with Cabella as he seems to drift in from wide areas.

Someone should tell De Boer he's a nothing player. Lad has had some great games for us, he was even decent at the beginning of the season but was dropped as soon as Tiote came back. He looks underconfident and demoralised. -
He struggled physically but that's a given, just have to make sure we get support around him so he can use his brain. Same goes for Cabella. Give these lads some options and they'll cause problems. Delighted for him.

Chuffed to bits for Perez, think he's going to turn into a real player. I was surprised at the cunt for his changes, tbh, I thought he'd do his usual sitting back damage limitation routine but he actually went for it. Perez and Cabella look much better when they have some support around them. It was good to see Sissoko in the role everyone's been wanting him in for 18 months too. For far too long we've been needing creative players to come much deeper and have to work a shit load of magic to even get to the final third. With Sissoko as a proper box-to-box, we've got a player who can force the issue in deeper areas and give the ball to our more creative players (in more space) in the final third. Not that this'll change anything, of course. Pards'll revert to being a fanny for the next game and stick players in the wrong position etc. -

Eurgh, this is just despicable. Murphy is doing my head in as commentator too; never questions the manager. -

Oh look, we're being shit again with tragic tactics and team selection. When is this going to end, man? -

Wank team. Chuffed for Ayoze but he's been proper hung out to dry here. -

I don't think he's a bellend anymore, tbh. Used to find him pretty insufferable 5 years ago or so, but he's seemingly mellowed a lot and does some good work now. It'd be nice if more 'celebrities' turned their attentions to real issues and got involved in trying to influence change for the better.
-
Only watched it up until 5-1 but i thought his individual performance was actually alright. Poor for the third goal, granted, but still made some great tackles & interceptions and brought the ball out from defence well. Cole had a pretty rough night, like. Robben is insane, he seems even more agile now than he was in his mid-twenties.
-
I don't get why Wenger is so resistant to him playing in the middle. One of the world's best central playmakers, just put him there.
-
Except Motta offers far more than being tidy. Not sure if that was Taydicks point, but if he means Motta is only tidy then it's ridiculous. I don't think it refers to Motta, I was just agreeing with the sentiment.

Just re-watched Shearer booting Lennon in the face. How the hell did he get away with that, man
-
I really don't think Motta and Matuidi are better players than him. I can see why Matuidi plays as he's so energetic and gives that midfield legs but I think YoCabs could come in for Motta and do just as good a job. Nah, no way, Mottas is the player you don't take out in that midfield. He's by far their best midfielder. I think he's a tad overrated, myself. He's a very tidy player and intelligent but I don't think PSG need him for a lot of Ligue 1 games (CL is a different story). If Cabaye came in for him: they could still keep possession well, the midfield balance would still be there and they'd have a player that offers more going forward. It's pretty crucial they keep on developing Veratti, who'll eclipse all of them if he keeps on progressing. Ideally, you'd get take out Matuidi, but I think if you had a midfield 3 of Motta, Veratti and Cabaye then it's a bit powderpuff and one-paced (even for Ligue 1).
