Pardew will only get stick if he fucks up the starting 11, which he could do. The team pretty much picks itself at the minute but it wouldn't surprise me if Shola and Sammy start with Gouffran and Marveaux bench-warming. -

From what I saw, he should have stayed on last night. As always, he was a willing runner and was economical with the ball. Really underrated player. -
Gomis and Thauvin?
-
Didn't realise he'd said we need more players in the squad and he hopes the chairman spends money. Fair play for saying it in public.
-
Cabaye's a better footballer than Nolan, no question, but one suited the team and manager far more than the other.
-
He's mint, need to get him and Marv on the pitch at the same time, desperately.
-
Scared and intrigued as to what he means by 'more positive team' against West Ham. He surely must mean Marveaux.
-
I'm not too worried yet but if we don't get 4 points minimum from the next 2 league games, I will be.
-
I agree with his comment that we looked OK before the sending off but threatening the goal was a load of bullshit. I thought it looked like the same old, we have some comfortable footballers in possession and therefore had some nice interchanges but we lack balance and cutting edge in the final 3rd.

I suspect Jonas will be out on Saturday so this lad should get his chance. It will be unbelievable if he doesn't start, perfect game for him.

Krul Debuchy MYM Colo Santon Sissoko Anita Marveaux Ben Arfa Cisse Gouffran If we play that, we'll win. -
Only caught the first half. Thought our initial formation looked like it had been patched together and that was evident considering we abandoned it before 10 minutes were up. I didn't think we looked too bad after the first goal, some nice passing interchanges and HBA and Sissoko looked classy. As ever, we were lacking in cutting edge when attacking, missing a link man and some quality delivery.
-
Any reason why? Anita's crying out for a run of games IMO. Because Antia and Tiote are too similar. Having 2 sitting midfielders was part of our problem last year, Jonas can actually dribble (not much else) and won't be asked to pick up the ball from extremely deep. In what way are Anita and Tiote similar? Their mentalities are very similar, neither have much going forward, like to sit deep and collect the ball off the centre backs. One is enough, two is too many.
-
We already have a replacement deep-lying midfielder with good passing, Anita. What would be more likely however, is Sissoko plays alongside Tiote with Marveaux ahead.
-
If it's 20 million and above, I'd take it. If him leaving means that Sissoko drops back and Marveaux gets put in that AM slot, we'll be a better team for it.
-
Marveaux should only take a wide spot in a 4-2-3-1 when Ben Arfa's injured, they're too similar, an issue compounded by our goal-shy midfielders. That's why Remy is perfect for our team, he has enough ability on the ball to start wide but has striker's movement and instincts meaning he will make runs off the ball, and we desperately need that as only Cisse has that mentality at present. I really hope we see this one day, it's a front 6 that would give anyone in the league a hard time: Sissoko Cabaye HBA Marveaux Remy Cisse

Lewandowski own goal. 2-1 Dortmund.
