Ashley doesn't care. He's a spiteful, vindictive and petty little man and I genuinely feel like he prioritises shafting the club (and hence the fans) over money. More than ever, the fans need to get behind the team. I don't believe Ashley will be here come the start of next season so if we can stick together and help the team battle through the next few months, we can move on and consign him to history.

The rumour came from a source that was a millions miles from what could have been called credible. Absolutely bonkers to have thought that anything was genuinely going to happen today. I don't deny that a small part of me hoped it might have been true. There is a reason that Rafa mentioned the 20th of January. I think something will break around that time.

I've done it at Highfield Rd, in the Holte End at Villa Park and in the home stand at White Hart Lane. Villa definitely the diciest.
